In New York State, there has been a ongoing State of Emergency since Covid began. Currently the State of Emergency is for gun violence and polio. So, because of this, agents prohibited from cold calling, calling expireds or calling FSBO's. They can only call FSBO's if they have a buyer for the property. You can still do digital ads, emails and regular mail. She's lucky to be in a state that doesn't have these restrictions

I moved from NY as well 8 years ago on my own, so was a struggle! I got my license end of 2019, and was working full time at the same time. I knew no one here, just my daughter she was in NAVY. I am happy to hear what her secrets are and how she made it work! I am still trying to find my perfect notch here, my mindset is the one thing that def needs work. I am not a favor of cold calling, but have done it. I called some FSBO and got two appointments. But one owner actually used an escrow company to do his transaction! I know for me being one income this is not an easy feet LOL!!!
This is great! I would love to know a couple things! 1. What is the site for absentee owners😍, my mls doesn’t provide us with that one you mentioned in the other video… and 2. Is she running the world now? She’s amazing! I’d love to know how she’s doing! So inspiring

From reading the comments, I guess this story is far more common than I had thought. I made the opposite move, CA to PA, 4 years ago. Im now a few weeks into my RE endeavor and really absorbing this content. Thanks for hosting such a great conversation and huge thanks to Alissa for sharing her story!
Great interview, I love the script that Alissa is using for Bullseye prospecting, tried it this morning and it's so out of the box and unusual that homeowners can't help but be nice about answering your quick question. Reverse selling at its finest!
I moved from Brooklyn NY in 2019 to Silicon Valley. I got licensed in march 2020. Didn’t know what to do and joined a team at the end of 2020. Jan 2021 to dec 2021, 23 deals with 26M in volume. 2022 Jan till now, 24 deals 20M in volume! I totally relate to this speaker
@@Coreyb55 first year I got them from Facebook ads with $10 a day. I used to work in marketing so I ran a couple of ads. My first year were all buyer side transaction. Once Covid loosen up, I shifted completely to open houses. This year I’ve had 3 listings and the rest are buyer side from open houses
Hey Brandon I love your videos!! I bought your script book the other day, very excited. Could you do a video on what to do in a SELLERS market. I live on Cape Cod, Massachusetts. It’s an island and there is limited land here so things sell so fast and never really go down in price so it’s always a sellers market. Im lucky to encounter 3 expired leads a day…and most of the numbers are inactive and people fail to answer. Kinda lost on where to put my attention.

Can you discuss the advantages and or disadvantages of being a “discount broker” that is with a 100% commission based firm and do not have to give 20-30% to their nationwide firm? They can cut commission but still get paid the same at the closing table.. I’m in a situation where I am getting recruiting calls from these firms but don’t know if it’s the right move to go. Thanks!

How many listings has she acquired in that time or homes sold ? Seems we never herd those numbers which Leeds me to believe none. Is that what we should view as a success ?
