Historically, not so much. Christians have only recently started to believe that. Like the last 100 years or so. There’s actually a suicide by murder thing in European Christian communities; they kill their children so they get the death sentence because suicide is considered worst. Suicide isn’t a mortal sin in tradish Native American cultures, which might be why we, well, my male counterparts anyway, hold the highest suicide rate in the country, different story though. Japanese culture reveres suicide in a way, it’s preferable than other acts of shame. But for the majority of Christian religions for the vast majority of time, suicide was considered worse than murder, even of ones own children 🥺

      Mother Hen of Damnifiknow Farms
This is true that Christians only recently started believing this, but as the Bible states, no sin is greater than another. Suicide, murder, abuse, theft, it’s all on the same level. A sin is a sin. I suppose the idea behind suicide being worse is because then you have no chance at redemption through Christ. You no longer have the ability to repent for you sins if you’ve committed suicide. And I can kinda understand that, but I’m on the page that sin is sin, even if I do tend to look at crimes such as murdering children to be worse out of habit.

A act some may not believe in when I tell you there is living demonic spirit walking in the earth seeking whomever they can wreck peoples and family lives he is called the great destroyer seeking Whom he may devour. No, this was a narcissist looking out for himself. Love this prosecution team! The defense disgusts me. I haven’t had a peachy upbringing and had a lot of challenges in my life being a single parent but my kids were my priority not myself. I made sure they were fed, clothed, cared for by responsible caregivers, and safe regardless of what I was going through! I didn’t have a big support system either. I grew up with an alcoholic abusive father and a mother who turned blind eyes! My family was dysfunctional as hell. But I was determined to be the OPPOSITE of what my life was like. I got married, but divorced early on, however that fueled me to fight to keep my kids stable more than ever! I didn’t use drugs and kill my 2 kids. Fast forward 20 some years later and my kids are college graduates, stable, responsible and respectful! I broke the cycle and he could have too! What’s the sense of having the death penalty if someone can just sit for life on taxpayer money? Makes me sick. Please jury please vote for death. Even in death it’s still injustice but at least closure and healing can begin!

ETA: I just got to a point where I just can not listen anymore. Especially when he said Natan(sp?) was crying out for his mom. That was it for me, being a mom myself of an 8 year old boy broke me. My son is so close to me because it’s just him and I and all I can picture is my son crying out for me and me not being able to help him or save him and I lose it. I can’t imagine being one of those jurors and having to see the photos of the children bruised up and just listening to what they went through. I’m glad he was sentenced to death. Those kids counted on their daddy to protect them and he became the biggest monster and murdered them. How can you murder your very own children? I will never understand this or anyone who is capable of doing this.

Wow. Im not usually a fan of the prosecution, but hat's off to this gentleman. He read the defendant like a book & he knew it.

Bravo!!! Very riveting. Very convincing. If this fine courtroom performance were part of a movie, it would deserve an Oscar. Mr. Hubbard's outstanding talent for public speaking rivals that of John F. Kennedy and Martin Luther King.
Every person who works as -- or aspires to be -- a lawyer, prosecutor, actor, politician, preacher, lobbyist, public speaker, speech writer, or TV evangelist should watch this video to learn how to perfect their craft.
The video is mislabeled, though, because this is the prosecution argument (NOT the defense).

The judge who gave him custody is responsible for these little kids' lives for making the call to give that man custody. Their mother surely was the safer option, maybe poorer? But women do better at child rearing or atleast those who aren't on drugs or addicts of something. Majority of men are agressive by nature, this man however, visually got some loose screws upstairs. Somtin' is off with him. If the mother isn't an addict our judges need to stop looking at income and choose based on ability to love and nurture.

The jury sent Timmy to his final destination. The children he used as pawns and murdered ..... silenced.
