Since I first watched one of your short films made with AI, about a year ago, I've admired how you deal with the limitations of this technology - Isn't that what makes good, singular art? I can't seem to agree with the accusations of this short being soulless just because it uses AI. Is it because the images are not realistic enough? To me, they look like some sort of CGI, but that was never a problem. Was "Toy Story" soulless back in 1995? Was "Silent Hill" , four years later? [This is a review/critique] There's not really anything good to say about this. It's entirely surface-level, which is really all it ever could be when you're constricted to generating shots with text prompts. Then there's the source material. Generally, you want a consistent feel throughout. However, because of how AI works, different prompts will give you results from different source materials. The wide shots of the car driving along the cliff bring me right out of it because they were clearly generated from a *car commercial*, which has VERY different vibes than a zombie apocolypse. Unfortunately, this is not a good short film. It's a good showcase of t2v gen AI, but it cannot be called a "good film" (i'd hesitate to call it a "short film" at all, and im VERY curious about what your definition of "realistic" is). When animating or filming something, inconsistencies are either accidents or on purpose to provide some kind of meaning. With AI, mistakes are a feature. There's no way to be entirely consistent because each shot is a whole new movie based off its own prompt. This... isn't really condusive for making films. AI Artist Job Hey fellow viewers, I’m a tech Recruiter in the UK. Usually specialising in the building blocks of AI, Machine Learning, Data. But one of my clients is looking for a AI Artist for his entertainment firm. They specialise in comics, cartoons and interactive games, and throughout the past 20yrs have used traditional “hands on artists”. Now believing that AI is the way forward they’re looking for someone who can use platforms like Runway, Midjourney, etc. (No Coding required). If you’re interested in a job like this, drop me a reply and we’ll figure out the next steps.
(Caveat) I’ve never used RUclips comments to find candidates for a client… but who’s to say this isn’t the new best way of finding all you talented individuals out there!!
I do get credit, it's right at the end, did you miss it? I wrote, directed, edited, conceptualized, sound designed it, and instructed the AI models. If AI does it all then surely you can make the next Citizen Kane with it for me by tomorrow!

AI Artist Job
Hey fellow viewers, I’m a tech Recruiter in the UK.
You dont get credit. And A.I did the work. Not you. This shit needs to stop.
I do get credit, it's right at the end, did you miss it?
I wrote, directed, edited, conceptualized, sound designed it, and instructed the AI models. If AI does it all then surely you can make the next Citizen Kane with it for me by tomorrow!
