Looks really good, I’ve got the same tank which I’ve had for the last 8 years and still running the original lighting but thinking of upgrading to the led unit because yours looks a lot brighter than mine, you’ve inspired me to try and do a near copy of yours.
Thankyou Colin, I'm glad thats given you some inspiration. The leds are brighter, because of this make sure you place in a number of plants when rescaping. That way the plants should be encouraged to grow and outcompete any algae. Also placing a 200g bag of C3 Nitrate removal resin will help to keep nitrates low and so less chance of algae outbreaks.
