This is an 86/87 model, it has the five screw gas gap,88/89 were 7 hole, the master cylinder reservoirs are 90° corners, the 88/89 had rounded corners, I think if you measure your fork stanchions they will be 36mm in place of the later 41mm and the early one had anti dive, with the adjuster on the left front fork bottom. Also, if it is the earlier one, then the wheels are 16" at the front and 18" at the rear in place of 17" Fr and Rr. I have both models and they are awesome bikes. Have a look under the saddle where the colour code is, it will say either VFR750F-G for 1986 or VFR750F-H for '87 1988 will be VFR750F-J and 1989 VFR750F-K These really were super well made, well engineered bikes. Honda are so clever the VFR kept getting worse after each iteration 😅😅😅 Ypu just know the 2025 vfr is going to a bag of shite.. 😅😅😅 We all know they can't "afford " gear driven cams.. Hahaha.. but any amount of cheap electric giszoms ..is gonna cost you thousands 😊😅😊

Great Video. Mine is a 88 model with 144000km on the odometer. Great fun, reliable, quite good fuel mileage, a very good overall touring sport bike.

your forks might need aligning it very much looks like your top yoke is twisted to the right slightly, even with the camera angle
