Very informative! Thankyou. I'm growing my first papaya trees from grocery store fruit here in central california. They are doing well but your information will help me get fruit 🐞 Those are beautiful flowers too!
I followed your suggestion and method and my two out of eight papaya trees are flowering at their height just slightly above my knee. Thank you for your video!
I bought a Papaya last season. It was the last one they had and wasn't doing well. I watched this video and pruned at 90 degrees, every leaf, and it has caused my plant to thrive. I noticed it shot a second shoot, but I topped it and let it focus on one main shoot and it grew 7 inches in about a month and a half! I have flowers now. I'm excited, fingers crossed.
This was a very interesting and helpful video. This video has my full attention attention.😳😳😳😳 I am trying to learn about this fruit before planting.🌱🌱🌱 Thank you for sharing.🤗🌹
Thanks for this informative video. I certainly learned something new. For me, I didn't have to pinch off some flowers because mice got to them and ate them :(. When I suspected that the mice were climbing up and eating the lower flowers, I wrapped the tree trunk with bird net so they can't climbed up. It worked and I finally have some fruits and waiting for them to get ripened. I wished I found your video sooner so I could have prevented the tree to grow too tall. It is now over 12 feet high.
I just found your video and will do the same with my papayas. I also have some rain lilies but not as much as you. I’m going to separate the bunches that I have for those to spread more. Thanks for the tips.
Thank you for the tips .. wish I'd found this earlier, my two papayas are about 3 months old ..v large already. I took off the bottom branches and boiled up the leaves to use for fertilizer.

Hi! Will all papaya trees carry papayas or only certain ones? I've heard that only female or hermaphrodites carry fruit.

I have one plant I grew from seed , so there's no chance of possibly knowing if I'm going to have a male , female or even hermie until it flowers ?
Sow various seeds to increase your chance of getting female and male to pollinate de female.

Good informative video. But the title is misleading. You have not done anything to keep papaya plants short. So change the title.

More info. in my other clip as Cambodian's Pka Angkor Jum garden in Florida Aug.2018. Thank for comment.
Have you tried smoking the Periwinkle's dried leaves? A medicinal smoke!
Does it self pollinate? Is it possible to grow papaya indoors?
Thank you SO much for this vid. Very good.
Why is it when you cut the leaves out, you always leave a section of the leaf stem not cut? What is the purpose of leaving the leaf stem on the tree?
Quantum Chang: prevent sap bleeding, I think.
Good lesson to us
good video my friend I like it.
Good infromation sir

Will it grow in Texas ? Zone 8
Cutting the bottom leaves makes it stay short?
I think the answer is it helps the tree fruit early while it's still smaller.
Very nice 👌
Where do you live? Your papa grow so fast.
My papayas are flowering.but no fruits.
Thank you
Good info. Thank you for sharing.
Can someone tell me if papaya flowers smell and what is the intensity of the smell of these flowers..
Well fertilized trees have thicker stems full of leaves n later full of papayas. Never cut their leaves as they are they are useful to the trees..
Sir what fertilizers that you use for that papaya?
