Spears in games... This brings up questions: It looks like the spear is throwable (unless I misunderstood what's going on), when you do is there an "ammo cost" & do you recoup that by picking up a previously thrown spear?
Thanks for making a video on Spear so quickly! Spear damage looks serviceable, but it doesn't seem like it's better than other power options. I do agree with you that being able to apply damage at range might make it better than GS. Is there a bottleneck for stealth and stealth attacks? If so, is it that you don't have enough stealth, or that you have plenty of stealth but your stealth attacks are often on cd? I'm trying to see if I can replace the Wilderness Survival traitline with something more offensive like Skirmishing, giving me access to Quick Draw. The CD reduction seems like it could be useful to smooth out gameplay if there is a skill bottleneck.
Honestly I don't ever feel like I don't have enough stealth or cooldowns. And losing vicious quarry is too much of a dps drop to switch into Quick Draw. There is a Marksmanship/Beastmastery variant that I'm curious about but haven't done enough testing on. When I started with spear I used a daze druid base so that is potentially something, but I'm still not sure yet. There doesn't feel like much of a bottleneck thankfully. And with your utilities on low cooldowns already and sword/warhorn having decent cooldowns as well it is pretty solid. Genuinely though, the only abilities you should be using from stealth consistently are spear 3, 5, and 4, and even 4 is debatable.
