I need help. I'm trying to remove the charging port itself so I can fix it. How do I remove it so I can fix the long metal piece in there that it charges off of?
Hola marcelo te cuento que tengo un Segway Ninebot Mini S que presentó el último año serios problemas de batería. Soy técnico en electrónica, y luego de ver este video me decidí a desarmar para ver si podía solucionar el problema: Resulta que UNA CELDA, de las 30 que hay dentro, estaba estropeada. La reemplazé, y luego a dos que estaban mas bajas en voltaje que el resto, les fui subiendo el voltaje paulatinamente con un cargador de celular (5v 2a) y el cable de este pelado, es decir aplicando voltaje del positivo y negativo por unos 60 segundos, cortando y midiendo con un multímetro, y volviendo a aplicar otros 60 segundos. Cuando quedaron todas las celdas balanceadas (Con ínfimas diferencias de milivolts), armé, cargué...Y quedó perfecto. Como nuevo. 20 kilómetros de autonomía como cuando era nuevo!!!
Good job! I found your video but my battery still has the solid green led and the top edge is not working, the battery is new, the voltage is correct, but I don't have the correct voltage at the output lead...
amigo, eu tenho duas baterias dessa com defeito, fiz a substituição de todas as celulas porém a bateria agora ficou doida.. Ela nao carrega mesmo sendo todas as celulas novas e funcionais... Alguma dica? Vc presta serviço de recuperação? Também sou do brasil...
Bom dia. Entao, onde vc comprou as.baterias? Provavelmente vc pegou baterias falsas, ou com defeito.. pois na pratica todas as baterias novas e boas, custa o preco de dois aparelhos novos. Eu nao faco manutencao nao. Consertei só este mesmo. Vc testou bateria por bateria?
Hola tengo un problema con la tarjeta de la.bateria del segway la.resistencia 3 y4 se quemaron y no me.quedo donde poner las de reemplazo se podrá hacer gracias por tu ayuda
@@marceloduarte9433 hola Marcelo si las resistencias se quemaron por una mala coneccion y ahora no se si se puedan volver a colocar unas nuevas por que la placa perdió los.contactos . No se si se pueda rehacer las vías
Todo reparo é possivel,mesmo se a placa perdeu os contatos, agora voce tem que verificar se vai compensar fazer o servico. E claro voce tambem precisa saber porque as resistencias queimaram. Eu nao sei de qual resistencia voce esta falando, mas não sei nem se é possivel a resistencia queimra por mal contato, eu acho que nao é... deve ter queimado somente o contato com a placa, nao tenho como saber; @@olgazana9740
I have a ninebot gokart Pro and it doesn’t have any issues since I bought it new but I was wondering what the Battery inside look like as I wanted to see if I can make an even bigger pack to get even longer range. I’m glad i came across this video but what cells are inside these packs? Are they Samsung or LG?
They are LG, specifically the LGEAMF11865. They are going to be hard to find but that doesn't matter... If you're just building a range booster to run in parallel use whatever cells you can get a good deal on with high discharge and similar capacity. This is a 15S2P pack, design an equivalent pack with it's own 2-wire BMS and connect your + and - to this batteries + and - and that's it. You can even use the same connector and the same charger for your new pack. If it were me though I'd just use 3x 5S LIPOs in parallel.
How do you retrofit your charger to charge directly after finding the positive and negative poles? Also I have the Minilite charger which only has a male end and looks nothing like yours. Do I have to cut the charger to use your demonstration?
On the same day that I replaced, I did some tests. - Battery charges at 100% - I didn't notice slower speed. - The device is not mine, so I don't know if the duration of the charge has become shorter.
@@marceloduarte9433 I don't have voltage from the charger output although the green LED is on. Did you measure voltage after you cut the wires? Or does it require a load across the terminals like some of the switching power supplies, don't know if this one is a switching PS. Thanks for replying.
@@kimchee94112 the charger must have voltage (more than 60v), if it is not defective. I didn't cut the wires, I put clips on the terminals and jumpered it to the board
So this is a 15S2P pack? No wonder the charger only charges to ~75%... for the voltage advertised you'd usually use a 13S configuration... they just threw in 2 extra cells per parallel group and don't charge them to full to prevent dumb consumers from ruining their cells.

Que bom que resolveu. Bateirias de ions de lítio tem que ter cuidado para carregar, mas acredito que da forma que voce fez foi bom

Yah, if the fisical space of battery can, you can change the AMps.. you cant change the Volts

After replacing the damaged cells, are you experiencing any speed limit or no battery information in the app?

I only buyed the batterry, arround u$3,00 each. I needed 6 battery. total 18 dollars.

I live in Brazil, I buyed in MercadoLivre, it is like ebay.
