Gotta agree about old vs new gas. Every time the price of a barrel of oil goes up....or sometimes doesn't even go up but speculation that it will go up the price of gas rises exactly with the price of oil because according to oil and gas experts the price of gas is directly tied to the price of oil. But if the price of a barrel of oil drops the price of gas takes weeks to drop because according to the same experts oil used for gas is stored for weeks before becoming gas so the price is based on what it was weeks ago not at the same time. Also the price for a barrel of oil at one time was around $50-60 and price for gas was around $1.00 a liter (don't remember the exact numbers). When the price of oil went up over $100 to around 100-110 per barrel people were losing their minds because gas was around $1.35 to $1.40. Yet price of oil as of right now is $81 and yet we are paying even more then when it was over $100. If gas is directly linked to oil then at $81 should we be paying somewhere around $1.10? What a scam
In winter, you need higher vapour pressure for ignition. In summer, if the vapour pressure is too high you can have vapour lock. They use isobutane to boost the vapour pressure in winter. Isobutane is very cheap.
