A damaged internet cable between Finland and Sweden once again raises suspicions of sabotage. Swedish authorities and experts believe it is likely that deliberate tampering is behind the incident. The cables, which are located at great depths, were damaged in two places - an accidental break seems unlikely. Two underwater cables were already damaged in the Baltic Sea in November, which German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius classifies as part of hybrid warfare. According to experts, Russia could be behind these actions in order to stir up insecurity and promote political destabilization in Europe.
