Have to say Lewin, your songs are outstanding. "Let's All Drive" is marvellous, beautifully put together and a wonderful counterpart to your kick ass rock track. You're a seriously talented dude - and a great guy for sharing your passion and expertise with such great energy and clarity.
I think Kazrog are going to be getting a nice flow of cash coming their way. It does make things sound more real. Adds so much vibe, depth to the soundstage and polish/clarity, really brought the mixes to the next level IMO. Pretty good on the CPU too 😊
I demo'd it for free, then bought it within about 30 minutes. It's great on the mix bus to thicken things up and glue it together, softening harsh transients. Definitely worth the US$40, as it's likely to be used on every single mix I do from now on.
When you say it sounds more real, it definitely sounds like it has a deeper or more correct soundstage to it. It sounds like instruments are both more front and back, more left and right, and natural harmonics between instruments are occuring. It definitely is very noticeable and while I am listening to this in studio monitor headphones, it sounds really good.
Went and got the plugin, and yes, you are correct. Somehow it gives the tracks a weight and feel that is tangible and real. Totally a good $39 to spend! Thank you for sharing!
WOW just bought it and it is AMAZING! Thank you for referring it and posting. video about it! All thanks for linking the youtube channel you found it on. You that man!
White Sea Studio is great. I kept seeing his name pop up, and now I am hooked. He’s so politely blunt, and he has very good taste and insight. Love your channel too! Your videos really helped get me started. I’m still hooked.
I got it recently and it's something that always makes things more interesting, the analog feel is well brought out and you can be subtle or over the top with it.
I 100% agree with every ward that came out of you....lol love his channel, the plugin and i will get this one. Plus, i like what you said at the end.... yes you need to know what sound you are looking for and all..... great stuff my man
it's a great saturator. be very very very careful to gain match. even half a db can make you think it sounds better than the bypassed audio. and pay attention to the fact that saturation actually makes things smaller. you wanna create depth. this plugin doesn't create depth, only compression.
@@brass725 I meant in relation to transformer saturation. A real one actually gives you more low end. Most digital emulations, including this one, don't.
There is an addition of volume ... i bought the plugin too but i was let down to see that the plugin increases gain. Please do a comparison with gain adjusted :)
loves WSS for a long time turned me onto this plugin as well as Specter. Adds just a small bit of mojo to it. Love this ontop of my SSL2+ with 4K Console Mode Enabled. Godly sound

V178 sounds of Neumann,, Malotki Sound Of telefunken.. 111c Sound of Vintage western Electric gear...( this is a fave of Mastering cats!) 0-12 is the input for 1176 limiter.. great on Vocals and guitars!! 108x.. has been used in mastering consoles. and Universal audio gear forever!!!!
(Disclaimer: Sorry to sound a bit bitchy here:) Malotki is not Telefunken. Malotki is Malotki. Telefunken used Haufe extensively in their mixing console modules. And yes I'm a transformer addict (and use most of the hardware emulated). But I'm going to pick up the plugin anyway. Let's see what it's got.
Welp, if that Waves Manny Reverb doesn’t go on sale soon, this is my next plugin 😐😳😍 I finally got the Waves J37 recently, and I think this will pair with it GLORIOUSLY! 😄
I just bought it and only have it on the 2buss for now. Feel like if you use it on every channel you could overdo Irtysh if you’re not careful. All the plugins add up
by a strengh of 8 you need to make a output of nearly -1.3 in tihs tool down right because of you hear it louder and then you cant compare without influence of loudness up
Full version: When I click on the icon Plug-ins, Components, VST, or VST3 they ask for an extra app? if you drag the icon to the folder you will see a folder but not the program is not installed. Even the Guy from the company has no solution for this. I already downloaded a lot of programs like Kontakt, VSL, Native instruments, and more but never had those problems. Maybe you can make a short video on how to let the software work instead of a promoting talk.
I’ve already wrote this in the White Sea Channel. You should also try Meldaproduction msaturatormb. In my opinion it’s much more flexible and does the same and much more. Maybe you’ll try it. Demo also exists.
I'm still trying to come up with a drum part for the cover of New Thing Happen.I would appreciate some guidance with how you got that drum pattern together. But this plug in is pretty nice.
Ooooh I didn't know you were making a cover of it! Have you seen my video here: ruclips.net/video/0wMHUyz4WN0/видео.html This is how I work the autodrummer. I can't wait to hear it!
Yes I have and I would get it together but I can't quiet get the drummer to do what I want him/it to do. Any further guidance would be greatly appreciated. @@GaragebandandBeyond
I can tell you this. I’m using the “heavy“ drum kit the drummer is Anders - hard rock. Some strategic moments are in the chorus, where it’s only Tom’s, snare and kick and tambourine. And it’s set to maximum “complex and loud” (The little yellow ball is all the way in the upper right hand corner) The solo is obviously half time. And the whole thing (except the solo) is following the main guitar riff.
GaragebandandBeyond it’s something I know nothing about and can’t find anything about it for GarageBand. I see so many videos saying how important it is but the videos are super confusing. I don’t get what it even is or how to start using it in GarageBand. Just hoping you might be able to point me in the general direction. If not it’s no biggie.
It doesn’t only have to go in the master output buss. You could definitely put it on anything. kick drum, bass guitar, piano etc.... If you check out their website, there are tons of details.
Anyone else get a window that pops up that says "GarageBand quit unexpectedly while trying to use True Iron plug-in"? This message pops up when I quit a project I'm using it on and try to reopen a new project. The plug-in works just fine and I really like it, but this pop up is getting annoying.
I just bought and installed this plug-in yesterday after watching this vid. So I don't think there's an update yet since mine should have been the latest version. Hoping they fix it with the next update they do!@@GaragebandandBeyond
I’ve just subscribed 😊
Ahahahahah welcome to the channel! I'm sure you'll at least enjoy the music! :D
If you needed White Sea to tell you about anything, then you're a complete fucktard.
I just subscribed to both of ya!

The thing is like the difference between listening behind a door and walking right in! 👍👍 from me, too!

That's what good transformers do. There's more seperation between instruments. Bass sounds more "stable", it's hard to describe, but I love it.

Nice song dude! Your video helped me to decide buy the True Iron. Now I can say, as you said, THAT WAS THE BEST PLUGIN I BOUGHT. Thanks man, cheers.

Saturation adds harmonic content, it doesn't make things 'smaller'.
@@crehanchris why do you lose the extreme lows and highs when I turn saturator up to 36 dB then? Or any other distortion/saturation for that matter

A perfect part of my master chain since a week back.
I was the one who suggested the review!!! I was unable to test myself at the time

I can verify, for me, this is a winner plugin.
I love this plug. It lives up to the hype.
WOW!! THAT SOUNDS AWESOME!! That's the snake oil guy right?
just bought it Lewin it's crazy fat sounding!! Thank you my man!!
Man True Iron is good. Any settings you like for dialog or clean vocals? I'm still exploring. Must do some A/B tests of the different settings

by a strengh of 8 you need to make a output of nearly -1.3 in tihs tool down right because of you hear it louder and then you cant compare without influence of loudness up
Or you can use your ears and ignore the loudness increase. It’s obvious the harmonics are coming through more so than just a volume boost.

White Sea Studio great, looking forward. Love this two channels.
After comparing these two plugins I have to say. True Iron is nice for lazy people, but tweakers will get much more out of msaturatormb.
I work with mac OS Catalina and Logix Pro X
i noticed that it sounds bigger and bigger long before it starts to break up and distort.

gives more harmonic content without distortion
Your vid is way better than White Sea's because I can hear the difference in yours while I couldn't in his for some reason.
I think the idea with this is that plugins should just replicate individual components and let us build our own processors
Sounds more cleaner :)
