The way I remember the difference is through OTT (O resembles inverted T) & UT (U resembles T) add another line and O becomes YO & U becomes YU. That's how I remember

Hi po! I'm Filipino too po, I just want to ask po why ㄹ sometimes sound like our Filipino rolled R like in word "masaRap" or "paRang" po? Even though she said the sound is "L"?

Basically you don't really use r. It's a mix of both but mostly l.

But when you say Lu it's sounds like ru..I'm confused all the time sometime it's sounds like Lu but most of the other words other like ru for ex..uri
