Buy it and suffer through it , every time you give yourself a haircut you will gain confidence what I recommend it’s just taking it nice and slow and perfect each guideline.

Learning to cut your hair is one of those “the only way out is through” type of things. I learned how to buzz cut my hair as a teen, learned basic fading in college but now I recently learned skin fade/ no guard and I’ll tell you that requires the most concentration. Had a friend fix it for me if I messed up skin fades but then they’re like the only way you’ll learn is to fix it yourself. My advice is to take your time, focus on consistent guide lines on side and back, and be confident that you can do it. No one’s lines are perfect, even barbers- the trick to a good end result is just making sure the layers blend well together and you don’t see or feel dark spots or hard lines.
