I’ve been cutting my hair since 2008 and although I didn’t have clippers with a notch system on it, it had turned out well since I have a steady hand and lots of patience. Doing you hair can save you thousands of dollars!
I'm gonna save the video, my son Benji and I been paying the barber shop x amount of dollars, when we can do it ourselves, thank you for the vid brother.
Great video. Do u recommend the self cut system? I want to start cutting my own hair, its so expensive now to getva hair cut and going 2 timesva month is costly., are the clippers and trimmers good? How is the mirror? Any issues with the lights? If the lights go bad can they be replaced? Thanks for ur time
In my opinion the problem with 99% of these diy cuts is going way too high with the number 1 and 2. Most people are too afraid to go lower because that might lead to clipper over comb/shears, and requiring a bit more of scissor work. Why I say this is an issue it's because the top and sides of your head are cut by the #2, and the front you have bangs, there is no depth or seamless blending with your natural longer hairs. Just do the scissor work as well, it's not hard at all.
I’ve been cutting my own hair since the pandemic started b/c of your videos. Thank you Andrew!
2 years of messed up cuts. Sad

Yeah .. fade too high and zero .. would like to see a .5 fade but not so high .. fade from bottom .5 , 1 , 2 , 3 guards tutorial would be nice to see
I’m highly interested to see your approach to DIY clipper over comb/shears. Perhaps you could post a video.
Sides look decent back needs more work on fading.
I def need more practice
Worse quality you can possibly imagine. China would make better mirrors. Go to Amazon reviews and you’ll see.
So what do you recommend smart fella?
