Kumander Daot has blogging on this place last month.saw his pretty good drone shot,. So amazing looks like youre in Thanos other planet on vacation..😅🤣
You guys are lucky, when we made our motorcycle trip from manila, going up to banaue via nueva vizcaya and then from banaue to baguio that was about 50 years ago , the road was still under development yet and we trekked on roads of small rocks and gravel up to baguio cty. better roads can only be seen inside localities or poblacions. we don't even have places to rest and sip on coffee or water for there were no services along the road. But I would very much try it again if I could. I am 78 and retired here in the US.
Thank you for visiting our place, Susie and Jonathan. I hope you could also visit in Bauko, Pikaw, there are more places to visit in our landlocked province. More municipalities to explore and food to eat. Take care to the both of you. Godspeed.
Agreed 😍 we've been to Sagada before but this trip was to experience the new, amazing roads! We did end up in an unexpectedly beautiful spot tho at the end, can't wait to share in the next video!
Been there several years ago sometime in the late 90s But so much have changed already like paved roads, viewing deck, buildings, etc. Love to hear you speaking in Tagalog!
I also get emotional when I been there I don't know but there's something inside me that I can't explain it seems like it's my home before where I belong
Same!! You explained that so well I have the same feeling both in Sagada and Banaue / nearby areas. Even the first time I visited it felt like I arrived home. So strange 🩷
There are different types of Etag for each tribe in the Cordilleras, some are fermented, some are sun dried, some are smoked, etc. Just pick and choose which one you prefer. They also have different names based on which processed was used in making them.
Baguio or sagada is like Europe that's why you love it,in my opinion. I myself love Baguio.Vegies are so many and fruit As well and fresh.and the the air.beautiful the place
Baguio air is polluted bcoz it's over crowded already...2 much diff. kind of transportation...unlike the 70's Baguio is very cold bcoz of the full PINES TRESS in the mountains... now some of the mountains are full of houses....Baguio change.... l still love Baguio my city... Ms you Philippines.!!!
I studied in Baguio in the early 80’s ,I used to cut classes in the afternoon, because I have my naps, get lazy to get up fr my cosy blanket, but now I find the air or weather has change, more warmer and over populated,I wished the Tousrism in Baguio shld have an effort to established more Filipino culture to attract visitors outside the city.
I never get tired of watching your videos about this place, it's so beautiful there and I hope I can visit Sagada this year when the weather permits. It is probably more enjoyable on a motorcycle rather than going there in a car, you can really see and appreciate the scenery a lot more.
I hope you can visit for you will love it!! It's such a special place, even though we had different destinations this trip that we never visited before couldn't help to spend a night in Sagada 🩷
Hi Susie, tell Jonathan on the way down for it is the rainy season now and the road can't be clear for foggy days as well as slippery when wet. Watch out for rocks rolling down from cliffs for this is a sign for land slides. Keep safe.
Wow what an amazing view Jonathan and Susie..thank you for bringing us there in mountain prov..i'm 72 yr old and can't go there anymore..thank you but stay safe be careful esp when the road is wet.. God bless you both
Nice coverage. on your way back down the mountains. Would be interesting to see you guys pass by the mountain lodges in Bagiou by Alphland be nice to see it from your angle or even just driving by the area. That is if you two are still up there by the time you read this. Thanks always.
It was an adorable moment in the vlog, coz it just flowed naturally, when the waitress said “one piece?” after Susie had ordered 1 whole pie. Then Susie had to politely & demurely reiterate, “One WHOLE pie”. I just love you two. 🥧🍋. DESSERT1st

For eating that yellow passion fruit, peel off the shell and suck the seeds as you push them up from its soft white covering, take the opportunity to buy it cheaply in Benguet. It cost more in other countries. HK sell it for $18. Each. We call them bantanas. The purple one is the well known sour-sweet passion fruit. Thank you for visiting our province, ever green and ever cool Benguet!
@@SusieinthePhilippines love your videos. Double love them for the beautiful drone shots in the Philippines. We, Filipinos do not have the privileges to do what you are doing. Keep it up. I also follow Eva Zu Beck from Poland.

17:44 Bugnay (or bignay) is a type of fruit from a tree. It's sweet and tart. It's usually made into wine, because it tastes very much like grapes.
Am glad you both are enjoying your tour of Atok, Benguet and neighboring places. Just be careful in your way. We care so much for you.
Thanks for featuring our humble but beautiful place, for this reason I will subscribe to your channel.

You are really inlove to that place uh?
i've only ever eaten sweet passionfruit in Northern Luzon. it seems like the sour sort is more common when you go south
Yes, it's always the sweet kind here! I only had the sour one with purple skin in Hungary (imported of course 🤭)
