Everything has risen except for hourly wages. Soon as the housing market saw such dramatic changes I knew we were headed for a recession. You could see it coming in the data.
Hourly wages were raised several times in the last 2 years. Then the law of unintended consequence comes into play in the form of inflation. Hundreds of years of data predicted this outcome.
Maybe not drive a v8 or drive a Camry
Does not matter what you drive, you will need 2 jobs to make ends meat. Everything is going up, not just gas and you get less for your dollar. I have had 2 jobs for 14 years and my girl works as well and still I can feel the pinch Wich normally I don't.. Not good for those households with only one or two incomes! You will need a 3rd to buy what you want not just what you need. People's savings have been cut very short in the stock market and crypto crash causing them to take large losses cause it just keeps falling. Bills are higher, car notes, car gas, car insurance, home insurance, internet, cell phone, water, gas, electric, natural gas and don't forget the last fed hike so credit card payments will be so high for those on the brink, they will have no choice but to claim bankruptcy...it never ends unless you make really good money. The average Joe will not know what hit them come middle of summer! I see foreclosure rates slowly on the rise. Home/Apartment rentals are already skyrocketing, cars (new and used) are much higher and some a year out due to chips needed and not enough workers to crank them out. Check engine lights being blacked out for sale of vehicles then you can't register with the DMV etc. Scams are on the rise as well as theft, shootings, kidnappings and home invasions. I see buckets on the road that should have been scrapped a decade ago, but they have no choice but to keep them running and not out of nostalgia and love for that brand n style! It's going to get worse before better.
@@williammurray1341 prices are not up because of wages. It's corporate greed. They've admitted to the shareholders we have raised prices beyond what is needed to cover the supply chain crisis. So pretty much using covid 19, the supply chain, and inflation to make records profits for themselves and the shareholders, all while screwing us over. Could Biden say hey we are capping prices, Yep. Will he? Absolutely not because corporate America funnels Billions into both parties.

I keep seeing all these single mom stories. You did not make a baby all by yourself. The baby daddy is half as responsible for that child. Get the authorities involved and start wage garnishments. There are legal services that will help you pro bono. Do some google searching to educate yourself on how to force the father of your child to pay up.

I live in Northern California. My area has become infested with Teslas. Only rich people can afford to save on gas. Takes me an hour to earn 2 gallons of gas.

In Canada, gas is over 8 dollars a gallon, at over 2 dollars per litre. We are all in the same sinking boat.

I took my children to see their grandma yesterday. When I passed the gas station and realized gas went up 10 cents to 4.87 I immediately became irritated. We live in a small town in Florida. The gas seems to be going up every 3 days here. Food is ridiculous too. This summer my daughter asked could we go to Sea-world and the beach. I don’t how I’m going to make it happen but, I’m trying to make it happen. The price of tickets combined with the price of gas, is making hard😞.

This is nothing just wait until the fall and winter. Beef prices are based on meat that was produced last year and early this year, by the fall and winter those prices will be based on the price to produce that meat with the increased fuel and feed costs that we are seeing today. The corn and hay produced for all of the animals have went sky high as well as fertilizer and now with the new inflation reduction act demanding more methane reduction it will add even more costs to what we are already seeing. If you can prepare do it, sooner rather than later.

I'm tired of the bs! I didn't get a rest when covid hit. I worked both of my jobs and I still do. This isn't easy. My rent is now going up by 230.00
My renewal just came from my apartment and amazingly it only went up $108 I was so surprised but I would have had to do at least a 13-month lease or longer to get it at that rate but I decide to move back to my home state of Ohio instead where I could get something brand spanking new to live in for about a thousand for one bedroom 1200 for two bedroom and when they go up on rent it's only like no more than 10%, if that much maybe $50 to $100 or more a year since the pandemic but before that they didn't even do that it would just be $10 $20 to renew your lease but good luck to you

California gas prices are just about $10/ gallon in some areas. This is on top of some of the highest rent prices in the Nation. Every state is feeling the increased cost of living.

Gas used to be cheap but then Biden closed the keystone pipeline and limited the oil companies for environmental reasons. This wasn’t happening under Trump, gas so cheap back then. The people that are to blame is Biden and Harris, they blame the war but the price of oil was increasing even before Russia declared war on Ukraine.
