I love this new version of Sleeping Sun. I mean, she had several variations of the song in recent years, but this one has more energy due to the faster pace. It's probably more difficult to sing because of that, but it pays off.
Wow just wow, how can she be this good? Those vocals have so much depth, so rich... so intense. Amazing! And that is probably the best phantom i have ever listened to. I am in awe. Sleeping sun, no words needed, her solo version is the best rendition there is. It's her song.
Wow! That Last note from the "Phantom of the Opera" was perhaps her strongest since the "End of an Era" concert! Just Powerfull! .... BUT Omg, this version of Sleeping Sun is really what makes me come back to this video from time to time... It's the Best Sleeping Sun version for me, not only because of her vocals (since 2016 Tarja's vocals on Sleeping Sun have been just on point, very emotional), but also this new instrumental fits the song perfectly! Amazing! Thank you so much for posting this!
@@Marcusrafaelfet As incredible as it seems, I think that in End of an Era Tarja carried parts of her chest support until the highest parts of her range, including this higher note (it sounded kind of mixed, not just heady... She was sick on that day and she used all the remaining power her technique could convey by then, I believe). On this concert she did that Eb6 purely in head voice, which sounded more effortless and more consistently supported too, because she did it in a more controled way. In my opinion, this one sounded more elegant as well... End of an Era version of this song was more raw Power! Thank you for sharing your point of view! Tarja is amazing! Cheers! =)
Whoa! Got chills with the Sleeping Sun!! This really would have been great with high quality. Although for a phone video it's good (just.. horizontal camera for this kind of things).
i like her tonality, always did, she has a nice full rounded instrument. it suits this type of music. but damn, why does she still oversing so much? its not needed. i can't stand these forceful slides, which also lead to some pitch problems (of course). also, out of breath (3:52 and subsequent holds)? and the last note...well, she still likes to come in very late...its uncomfortable, for a moment i expected she would have to skip the note. i will not talk about him, just, dude...if its not the day, stop pushing.

It sounded more supported than she did in 'End of an Era' actually, you can tell by the consistent clean vibratto.
