Snipers. Plan's and some time's tank's. But snipers the most.
Snipers,planes,artilery trucks,machine guns used like snipers and the Saint Chamond tank when used like a sniper.
It was great but plz try using a plane even if its judt for one vid. Sometimes the best way to deal with planes is to get in one yourself!
Mortar artillery trucks. Not many counters in operations.
Just take the planes out with the federov optical...i took 3 bombers out in one match..I got sick of them
I used to sacrifice entire games in the fighter plane with the incendiary rounds. End the game with like 7 kills but at least those damn planes were dealt with

I tried using the Heavy Bomber and got 6 kills
Ikr I get 1.5 KD at best
When I see a plane annihilating my side I just ignore the battle and try and annoy the pilots. AA guns, Assault AA hand cannon and support LMG; and keep to the edges or the back where they're least likely to look for people and where they think they're safe to repair.
Not saying it's super successful but the salty messages I get let me know that I am ruining their fun somewhat 😁.

Satisfaction is watching a cocky pilot go in for a dive, meeting my engine crippling ammo.. and not having the power to recover, slamming face first into the ground.

When this happens, I jumped to my support class and lay down, then start shooting them down with my browning. It doesn't need to kill, but to divert them away from the team.

Equip the Burton LMG, switch to incendiary ammo and strike back... thank me later.

That's what I do it's especially good when you take out a wing and they crash cause they can't turn.

Dice have some learning to do. Mainly tank and plane make it one use per round, instead of sweaty bastards doing nothing else. Maybe tone it down with repairs mid flight too, that's just strange.

The “problem” in every BF is if you’re a good pilot, you will dominate the entire game, but only if you’re extremely good with the planes.
I hate the planes too and I'm pretty good on foot but being good with the planes really is quite difficult . It's like a game within in a game in the sky's. After a while you can avoid some of the plane bullshit as well as the calvery bullshit. It's the artillery trucks that are the biggest issue. Zero skill and sit on the outskirts of the map or retreat to the spawn to heal. The artillery trucks are ridiculous and have always been.
Damn I don't play battlefield myself but those planes look extremely rage inducing!

I tried getting back into it a while ago but uninstalled due to planes and the repeated monte Grappa map (the one with mountains). There’s tons of maps but I get that one nearly every other round and sometimes twice in a row.
Snipers on certain maps too, especially the desert maps, fao and monte, if there are enough people sniping it will turn into spawn, die or spawn, walk 5 ft, die

I used to get so frustrated by planes. I'd used to get on AA just to get killed by the same planes. And nobody in the lobby would ever try to stop them.
I have this problem too but when ever I get in a plane I don't even get a lot of kills kinda weird

My man GGG, I was playing just last night, someone got 100 kills and 1 death with an attack plane, they were only on level 50, next time you see a plane grinding, use an M1917 Telescopic, and troll the crap outta them, I did it, they got salty. AND I sniped them out of the air with a grenade.

This is why I use the AA-artillery truck on most plane maps!
I usually get rage mail for being a 'tryhard' but without me the pilots would just go 100-0
And in Battlefield V me and my buddy have mastered the Fleagerfaust so we can counter planes pretty well there too
This is why I advocate for B2B Operations & conquest game modes, and even though they are not flawless, they are arguably original
That's the reason why people I pick a AA truck and sit in there all the time and my team saying I'm doing nothing when they just kept dying to the plane
It's like, you gotta train that skill with planes. If your lucky and daring you can pull off the impossible
My strat for operations is support.
moving with the blubes up to an objective, finding a corner, dropping a box and throwing gas at my feet.. I’d suggest the burton mg for this as it’s rate of fire and decent hip fire give it a dirty edge in CQC.
P.s the burton can also badger planes with much success!
I feel like planes were easier to take down with the AA Rocket gun than the damn Fliegerfaust thing.
Whip out AA rocket, wait for the plane to dive and commit to an attack and hit it, most of the time you'll destroy the wing and itll be unable to recover in time and crash.
I hate Arty truck more than anything (in specific modes)
But yeah, planes left unchecked are very oppressive lol.

If it's an Attack Plane/Fighter, equip the Burton LMR with incendiary rounds and shred their wings/engines. If it's a Bomber/Heavy Bomber, break out the M1917 MG Telescopic and just sink round after round into 'em.
I just went back to this game and still don't get tired of this game!
And remember when the game first came out it wasn't like this. Then the plane Bois bitched and moaned and dice did what they always do. Gradually NERF every viable AA option out of the game.
a burton, AA rocket gun, or the browning LMG is a fantastic option for killing them too. Overall even having one of these things or an AA gun will put immense stress even on good pilots and usually they will either avoid you or risk it all to try to take you down. If they are in a attack plane don't even bother trying to shoot them down in a fighter plane. It's easy to swap seats and mow you down
I have alittle experience with planes and I am not an expert but any pressure applied goes a long way. Taking out planes is sometimes about pressure rather than DPS and sometimes you have to bite the bullet for your team and take on AA duty.

I just uploaded a week ago gameplay of Kaiserschalcht operations as British troops. We were defending so well against infantry and tanks but then ilya muramets comes in and ruins a part of my video as I constantly die to planes, spawn and die instantly. Luckily we won because that guy joined so late but it shows how single handedly OP the planes are and one guy can carry the battle instead of teamwork.

Try AA Rocket gun, its hardly used and not many of those flyers like it.

A tip to survive against planes more is to hug walls and stuff so the line of sight is blocked
Biggest problem imo is the balance of teams. That also is a big factor in the sky. If one team dominates the air, they can easily farm ground targets.

I was watching these streams and I completely feel you man. I dont stream so I have no problem spending all game hunting pilots but I know that makes for less engaging content. I will say, I had a game on Monte Crappa yesterday playing as assault. I ended up shooting down 8 planes with the AA rocket by the rounds end and stayed at D and B the whole game. You can PTFO and deal with planes but its not easy. Gotta keep your eyes up and head on a swivel and even then youll die plenty.

You should use the Burton LMR, they are best for taking down plane and Zeppelin.
Theyve yet to find a balance with the aircraft in BF.
They were useless in BF4 unless you were an absolute expert and they seem to be very easy to use in BF1.
I think taking on air and ground targets from guns to bomb should be easier than BF4 but maybe a little less easy than BF1.
And people wonder why some will camp the AA’s. As soon as I’m taken out a few times by planes I go straight to the Burton and AA guns. Playing the objective? Nop, but if I can harass the planes enough it helps the team and me from losing it.
ADS spazzing out, getting shot through solid cover, bayonet charges stopping at random. Getting shot by one shot guns.

Playing in planes is also frustrating in Fjell. So many AA guns can shoot at you from nowhere. Even the airspace is small
Personally, dying by the Illya bomber is the only thing that truly annoys me. They wouldn't be an issue if more players shot at passing planes tbh. Also, maybe if they gave the AA rocket gun to Support it would've seen more use. No assault player is going to choose AA weapon over more explosives lol.

I love bf1 as well and I completely agree that the planes are OP. The horses are annoying too but still reasonable under most circumstances.
I recently went back to bf1 after 2 years of bfv and i enjoyed it but i've always hated the plane vs infantry balance of bf1 it's impossible to bring down a skillful pilot in a fighter plane with an AA gun and after you hit them they make a point of coming back to specifically target you. as much as people hate bfv i love the "you are spotted" feature in bfv because you know when you are visible to planes and it's much easier to avoid them.

I think planes should only be allowed on conquest. Operations and Frontline where entire 32 man teams are condensed on a single or 2 points is too easy for planes to rip apart.

Well the planes are less of a problem than they are in BFV but they still are annoying in BF1, esspecially the Heavy Bomber and the Attack plane.

That’s why you spawn as a fighter plane, infantry is fun but you need to learn air combat too.
Thats hard to do when either another player stays in spawn to get the next plane or if you do happen to get it, you get shot down by the pro that is already in the Air that does nothing but fly planes and is completely useless to his team for most of the match.
@@spartanx169x I been playing battlefield 1 for almost 5 years, practice makes a difference, also it depends what package your going to run on the fighter plane, if is to take down enemy fighter planes, you can use the dogfight package but if it’s to take down attack planes you can always use the bomber package, the one with the rockets, it’s hard to use but if you hit all your rockets, you’ll do some serious damage, you can also take out enemy fighter planes but like I said it’s pretty challenging, you just need to practice.
@@jigsterpineapples8827 I have l played the game since release as well. I agree. But most people are certainly not going to do that. What I did for a while was hop onto an empty servers just to fly around. But that does not help in unlocking the different packages. For me most games the planes are a non issue except for occasional random death, because I stay away from the objective that is being fought over the most which tends to get hit the most by planes. GGG got killed mostly because of being at the objectives being fought over the most. If one really makes me mad I will get a Support LMG and make it my only goal to take down the plane win or lose.
@@spartanx169x your right, it also depends on your team, sometimes I feel like I get put on the team we’re all my teammates are less experienced then me, and I have to carry the team, I just learned how to play every class from infantry to vehicles and horses lol
Its the same in BFV haha the air to ground balance/ fun factor are in the gutter, at least in BFV you have a Flieger faust in BF1 you have the aa rocket gun which is no way near as good. also they made air vehicles in the the last 2 titles super selfish, they are only there to farm at least with helicopter in the previous titles required multiple players to be at the pinicle of power.
I don't think they made them selfish... that's just how planes were used in WW1 and WW2. What did you expect them to do?
Also... the assault class' AA rocket might not be as good as the Fliegerfaust but it's still pretty damn powerful if you don't suck.
