Feels like I'm the only one who likes watching HBox play Grand Finals because of how tense it is playing against Puff. Set 1 was the shortest Grand Final set i've ever watched! Great stuff to Plup though... I guess I now mean... God stuff to Plup.

And Hbox is risky and aggressive as hell since the beginning of last year. Honestly, watching him using a character who was supposed to rely on reading opponents, jump into the put of the stadium transition, a place where EVERYONE ELSE would've just waited, was hype as shit.
M2k was the first to congratulate Plup, and then quickly left the stage.
M2k has a mighty soul.
This is wonderful to see for so many reasons. I think M2K and Plup playing/streaming/training together has a lot to do with this victory. Happy for Plup, and I hope M2K's big moment will come soon.

Defeating peak clutchbox twice is no easy feat. I loved watching this set live, and love rewatching a few years later.
LET'S GO, PLUP!!! Also, I'm not an HBox fan, but people say that puff is lane it his play style is but dear lord he played explosively in these two sets. I don't think it was lame at all. Maybe it was because it was GF but every second just felt so tense and like he'd instakill Plup. Was incredible to watch and even more incredible to see my boy take the W.
When I first saw the set between Plup (Samus) vs Skrach (Marth) many many moons ago, I knew this kid would be the future of Melee. Congrats to him on this momentous victory.
Being in TBH7 venue after plup was dropping set 1 gfs hard was crushing. Seeing it almost happen again was crushing watching from my house. amazingly impressed and glad that melee is a game where the better player can always win if they keep going. Ggs

This is so cool for me as someone who only recently got into melee. The first set I ever watched was the apex salty suite between plup and hugs and ever since he's been my favorite player. It's awesome to see him playing at this level

hbox is an extremely expressive winner to say the least. combine that with a defensive playstyle in a game known for speed, and you basically have a guy rubbing his wins in everyone who dislikes defensive play's faces

As a hungrybox fan, I'm happy and not salty about this L, props to plup, his mix ups are insane. IMO this shine at 22:39 after that drill won him the game. Hope he will soon get #3 or #2 in world (because I hope hbox stay first).
