Spira was commissioned jointly by the Los Angeles Philharmonic, NDR Elbphilharmonie Orchester, Orchestre de Paris, City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra and Kungliga Filharmonikerna, with the World Premiere performance presented by conductor Mirga Gražinytė-Tyla in Los Angeles.

Welcome to Indonesia
Every music is also an expression of its time. Therefore nowaday's music is often painful to ears and nerves. This seems not to be the case with the music of Unsuk Chin, that I am hearing here for the first time. These sounds are smoother and quite bearable.
This remind me of Stravinsky!
