meanwhile, she's a super successful composer, her music is being played by the most important musicians and orchestras around the world, and she has been making art for more than 30 years - but remind me: who are you, exactly?
@@MicheleoTuTo Who am I? I'm not her and wouldn't want to be. Her music sucks. If you changed some notes here and there, no one would know the difference and it wouldn't matter in the slightest. At a lesson Copland once remarked "That note is refreshing." I couldn't find one refreshing note in Operascope, or rhythm, or melody, or harmony. Chin's strong point is her ear for color, but that doesn't make a piece interesting in itself. And I don't care how many orchestras or musicians play her music. They can have it.

@@MicheleoTuTo Yes, I do know something about music composition, and I was associated with Copland, Lutoslawski, Bassett and Crumb. I'm not bitter in the least. I know what I like and what I don't like. I'm glad you like Chin's music. I don't. And millions? I highly doubt it.
