I purchased this last December , 2023 and haven't used it yet. A little nervous about them turning out good. Saw a Hallmark movie (My Norwegian Holiday) and they were making these in Norway. So I got one! Im going to do it any day now! :)
I purchased the same a month ago and already made three batches in the last weeks. Everyone in the family adores these. Thanks for sharing your recipe.
I’ve been baking krumkake since I was five. I’m 72 now. I still have my grandma’s old iron and use her recipe, a pound of melted butter, whipping cream, a dozen eggs and freshly ground cardamom. Call your cardiologist in the morning.
Can you do two cameras, one on the Iron and one on the board and dowel? That would make it a lot smoother. Otherwise I enjoyed it. I might even go out and purchase a KrumKaka iron, they come in electric versions too.

I enjoyed your video. Very instructive. I noticed that your kitty was interested in what you were doing too.
She was in the background, probably looking for more food. She’s getting old at 18 and her thyroid condition keeps her thin.
I never heard the term krumkake, a light crispy cookie. Looks delicious.
Im already baked out this christmas...but these look good.
I enjoyed your demonstration. Thanks for sharing.
" It's so perfect.. 😋👍"

I only have the one GoPro camera, a series 4. I tried to cut from one view to another but didn’t like how it looked even with a dissolve.
In Norway they would never concider krumkake as a cookie. Its a cake.
Thank you. So Krumkake translated as a “crumble cake”.
@@BobC76 No, the name comes from the fact that you bend/curve the cakes into a conical shape.
