Couldn’t beat Perry and Doherty’s chemistry. Brenda & Dylan were always connected…even through the ups and downs. At the end of the day, whenever Dylan needed someone to really talk to, to understand him, he would always run to Brenda and when Brenda needed him, he would run to her. They were hands down the best couple, period.❤

the rest makes no sense anyway, Brenda no longer appears at home even for special occasions like Christmas and birthdays, then Brenda would have left a message for Donna on the occasion of her wedding, which does not had not been the case. Dylan and Steve were never best friends, Steve was friends with David and Brandon and yet he put Dylan as his daughter's godfather. Dylan does not see Brenda again for 2 years, after Brenda leaves for London, he does everything possible to win Kelly back and then he falls in love with Tony and they decide to get married, and yet after all this just after the death of his wife he joined Brenda in London then later returned to Beverley Hills and telling Kelly that Kelly and Tony were the only people he ever loved, only to then leave her after they had their child.

It’s unfortunate Brenda’s character had to be made insufferable due to behind the scenes drama but Perry and Garth had amazing chemistry and they were given good material. @kathconserv got to agree with you about Kelly. From the very start of the show til the end of the series. Really just a character that I was never invested in. Sure she's attractive enough but it was all surface and shallow and selfish for me in regarding the character. I never really enjoyed much about the character's life on the show particularly her relationships. Even Brandon was too good for her and I was up and down with Brandon in the series. Take her or leave her and I was pretty much on the leave team when it came to Kelly.
The reason Brenda and Dylan had so much chemistry was because their relationship was about the connection between them as people, their souls, their intellect; there was substance. With Kelly it seems like it was all physical and then the other stuff mentioned above was forced to give the relationship meaning (being in the same kindergarten class 🫠).
Iris preferred Brenda, Erica preferred Brenda, let’s be honest Brenda is the girl you bring home to your family and the girl you marry, Kelly is a practice girl who guys don’t bring home to the family and is there for a good roll in the hay, never anything serious, she’s there when you’re in between classy, marriage material ladies.

Dylan and Brenda were teenage love. It’s unfortunate Brenda’s character had to be made insufferable due to behind the scenes drama but Perry and Garth had amazing chemistry and they were given good material. Bottom line, anybody is free to write their own fan fiction and play out entirely different scenarios.
Brenda’s character was never insufferable. Kelly’s was.

I felt like Brenda never app. how good her life was with her family for example. They made her into such a brat.
@kathconserv got to agree with you about Kelly. From the very start of the show til the end of the series.
Really just a character that I was never invested in. Sure she's attractive enough but it was all surface and shallow and selfish for me in regarding the character.
I never really enjoyed much about the character's life on the show particularly her relationships. Even Brandon was too good for her and I was up and down with Brandon in the series.
Take her or leave her and I was pretty much on the leave team when it came to Kelly.
The reason Brenda and Dylan had so much chemistry was because their relationship was about the connection between them as people, their souls, their intellect; there was substance. With Kelly it seems like it was all physical and then the other stuff mentioned above was forced to give the relationship meaning (being in the same kindergarten class 🫠).
Iris preferred Brenda, Erica preferred Brenda, let’s be honest Brenda is the girl you bring home to your family and the girl you marry, Kelly is a practice girl who guys don’t bring home to the family and is there for a good roll in the hay, never anything serious, she’s there when you’re in between classy, marriage material ladies.
