I like making three yard quilts and enjoy all your videos. Trixie is adorable. Questions: When did you first learn to sew, who taught you, and what started or inspired your love for quilting? Do you sew other items -- clothes, etc.? What hobbies does your husband enjoy?
Big fan of all your quilts. I have even gotten my 8 year old grand daughter hooked! We are getting ready to do her second real quilt, and I have ordered one of the 3 yard quilt books for her. So glad I found your channel!
Karen Brown of Just Get It Done Quilts does a nice job of a live Q&A. She has a list of questions people have sent her, but answers them live, while leaving the possibility of answering a live question. My question: some of your fabric choices are those I would never have guessed could be combined, so how do you go about picking fabrics for a project? I enjoy your channel!
It’s always good to take time to take inventory & take time to clear the cobwebs in the mind to release creativity. When not working, sewing, quilting & wifeing: what else helps to refill your soul: camping, fishing, having spa days? What refills your cup?
I'm curious to know what type of charities your quilts go to - hospitals, hospice, foster kids?? I'm in Australia so can't assist directly but someone else may.
Hello from New Mexico!!! You are an inspiration. Thank you for sharing your skills and knowledge. Here's an idea: tropical beach theme FABRIC PRINTS; palm trees, sunsets, large florals.
I've really enjoyed watching your videos. Love the format of the show. Maybe you have said this before, but where are you going on honeymoon? I remarried 5+ years ago. We went on a Mediterranean cruise. Visited many places. Rome, Leaning tower of Piza, Pompeii, France, Spain... it was a whirlwind. Fun but exhausting in a lot of ways. Hope wherever you go you make time to just relax and hang out. Enjoy!
I took 2 months off of charity quilt making. I finished a large quilt for family, did small projects and rested my quilts brain. Now I'm back. Enjoy your honeymoon.
Hi! Don’t you worry about us! You enjoy your honeymoon and don’t give any of this a thought! Love & hugs, Deb x 🤗 (Having said that, I would love to see you make “Woven” if you haven’t already made it!)
I know the 3 yard quilts are easy and they have the resources to make them bigger in the patterns/books. Would you ever make a larger sized 3 yard quilt?
Question: When you have to piece strips for a border, why do you sew them with a diagonal rather than straight seam? I think a prerecorded Q&A would be better. I probably wouldn't watch it live.
My guild has a 3 yard comfort quilt challenge for October for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. One of the fabrics of course needs to have pink in it. Any suggestions for a great pattern from the Fabric Cafe books? After the competition the quilts will be donated to the breast cancer center in our local hospital. Thanks.

Great resource from FC! That is wonderful to use so people know which ones they have made.

Would love to have your husband included in your video! I'm sure he is a big supporter of all your beautiful quilts. Happy Anniversary in advance!
Thank you for the tip on the freebie sheet from Fabric Cafe. Just printed one off for myself.
Hi Emily yes you should do a live! I have been curious lately as to how many quilts you make in a years time. It’s got to be a pretty high number.
Congratulations on finally going on your honeymoon! That is a great checklist!
I think it should be live and recorded for those that Miss it. And my question for you is how long were you quilting before you got your long arm?
Which 3 yard quilt book have you made the most quilts out of?
What’s Trixie’s favorite people food?

Emily, I love your top. Beautiful colors😍😍
The first page also shows which patterns are not in any books but individual patterns only.
🎉❤

Do you have a favorite holiday to make quilts for? Season? Mine is Halloween/Fall

What ruler do you use to cut your fabric? it looks like it has a lip that slides on the cutting map?
How did you and your husband meet?
