  • Blankets may not be the first thing you think of when it comes to overlanding, but whether it’s just for wrapping up in around a fire, a little extra insulation when you are sleeping, or being a ground cover for a picnic they are super handy to have around. Here are some of my favorites!

I have a couple woobie's that we take on trips or use with the family. I picked up a Rumpl last year to keep in the rig, can't say I'm overly impressed with it but it does work, but not something I would buy again.

I've wanted to get a Rumpl but when I looked at them in person I wasn't sure their quality was on par with the price.

@@stormcrowoverland I've considered a Doobie as well, but $200 is a little much when I can get perfectly good Woobie's at the local military store for $10-$20.

I picked up a Peruvian Alpaca wool blanket from a charity event at OU a few years ago. It is the warmest and softest blanket I have ever owned. I love it. It kept me warm when I accidentally left the window open during a sub 30⁰ night. It just doesn't pack down at all lol
