@Kendra Rasberry I live in Germany so I just follow the things that happen in the US from an European perspective. Germany has slowly opened its schools a few weeks ago. The rules here are very similar to the CDC Guidelines. The major difference in Germany was, that the pandemic was never a political issue. All political party's agreed to handle this based on science. We also had a lot of discussion, made some mistakes but all in all we handled this not too bad. I do not often agree with my government, but it's much better to have a Scientist as a leader than a.. whatever... My state is located in the south of Germany and was a Hotspot. Nobody would have politically survived, suggesting to open schools during such high infection rates like in the US. About 10Mil. are living in my state... we had 480 new cases yesterday.... And we are going nuts because of this second wave. We were down to 50 cases per day during the summer.
Bars and Restaurants are open with limitations. No mass events like Concerts. Wearing a Mask is only mandatory in Shops and public transport. We have also have a tracing app, that warns you, if you came close to a person who later gets tested positive. I am glad my children are back to Kindergarten and school, but it's like a surreal movie to watch Desantis and Betsy Devos..... How could they talk about reopening while every day the numbers are going up... That's like Disney World would open during the worst time of the pandemic... Oh wait.... wtf...

The republican party has been sued many times for stealing music that was not authorized. They dont care. They keep stealing music for their events anyway. Including the convention this year.
I think this is covered under “compulsory licensing”. It’s legal, and there’s nothing the musicians can do about it.

When I was a teenager I spent a few nights at a large YMCA (back when they had facilities for inexpensive overnight stays).
