I think he means in that this is the only universe where Mark is a good guy. He doesn't want THIS Mark to die. Unfortunately, the memories that all other Angstorms have of Mark are that he is evil and that they hate him... Now imagine all those bad memories and hatred inside one person.
Yeah not many people see this angstrom was not a violent person he probably thought they would just restrain him he wasn’t just gonna someone especially a superhero die so he could try to achieve his goal
I don’t know how much the writers intended on this (they probably did) but something I’m now noticing is how much that Walt Whitman quote Angstrom says kind of foreshadows his character arc to some degree
If he could create portals for the Maulers during the process, I would've thought he would've sent Invincible through a portal even if only for a while, to not have them fight so closeby.
It’s kinda sad Levy just wanted a better world but thanks to the multiple twin clones he summoned he was not only mutated but was corrupted to the point that he was obsessed on killing Invincible to the point Levy went for his family and ended up being killed in the process.
If only the Maulers would take a different approach to explain it probably our Mark would understand, he wasn't a person that liked fighting and killing after all
Honestly, Invincible writing is trash and if we're being honest the only interesting thing about these comics and the show is Omni Man and the Viltrumites, which will very quickly become boring 😂. 90% of this show is cheesy nonsense. Angstrom Levy is one of the biggest examples of this. "I won't build my utopia on blood" 😂 not only is that already an overload of cheese, but his silliness leads to the deaths of everybody in the lab, which could have also inadvertently killed the Invincible he was trying to save. I can't suspend this much disbelief 🤦♂️
Could be alluding to how their way of doing things would involve more bloodshed and there would be no way to stop them. In line with his way of thinking that something is justifiable for the greater good, killing the others and inadvertently Invincible would be for the greater good.
@@harambejr nah, he was definitely referring to the death of Invincible in that moment. The only person trying to stop him _was_ Invincible, so in essence allowing them to kill him would be "building the utopia on blood" as it were.

What I really love is that after this scene, Mark’s Angstrom is essentially dead, and in his place were versions of him that essentially hated him.
Looking back at this after watching his death he totally did save him and that haunts the original.
