I was also wondering on what that List is based of. Italy is certainly not among the Countries with the most strong Earthquakes. But if one happens there, they are almost always devastating. Without naming countries i´d say most Quakes happen in the Pacific Ring of Fire, but the worst happen in the Alpide Belt.

btw first earthquake was 7.8 (usgs) and 8 (GeoScope) and second was 7.5 (usgs) and 7.7(GeoScope)
