I just finished this project. I love, love, love it! Your tutorial was perfect. The only alteration I made was I added a few rows of double crochet to the sleeves before I added the fur trim. It came out perfectly. My favorite way to wear is upside down with a pin.

I have 1400 yards of this beautiful mustard yellow yarn that I was making a Habitat Cardigan with but when I went to the store to get more they only had one skein that I knew when looking at it wasn't the right dye lot but I bought it anyway. I've been on the look out for what to make with this yarn that is now a 3/4 finished cardigan and this is IT!!

I had to frog mine a couple of times - the chain row was making it curve. I ended up doing a foundation row for the first.

Very cute! My first sweater I made was a cocoon. It was a great introduction into sweater/cardigan construction. I love wearing it even though I have about 10 handmade cardigans now. It hugs you because of the construction!!
Exactly, it’s like a crocheted hug! Lol, I’d never heard it called a cocoon before I was researching for this design. It is a great way to get a nice finished cardigan without the complicated measurements. The part I like the most about this one is it can be worn so many different ways. It’s like a completely different top when you wear it upside down.

Hi Anna, you can find the link to the free pattern in the description of all my tutorials. There’s a few that don’t have a free pattern but most do. Some of my old ones have no pattern or just the size small I made, but I think the two you asked about do. They should have XS-XXL
