  • S3:E5 This was a great camp. I totally curated each piece o my equipment and it was awesome. We also tested out my new DD Hammocks 4x4 tarp and a new little firepit from Campingmoon. I had a blast and I hope you do too.

    Just got my Coyote DD 4x4 Tarp and hoping to use it after work on Friday night in Peak District National Park. Great video, very relaxing!

      How did your 4x4 DD hold up? I’m considering getting one but still undecided of whether to get 3x3 or 4x4, might go bang in the middle for 3.5 instead, lol.

    I got my DD 4x4 specifically to see what a tarp tent made that large would be like. It’s now my default choice when I’m not in a winter hot tent.
    Thanks for sharing your time with it! New subscriber!

    That looks like a really cool place to go camping. I love the DD 4x4, I have one and use it all the time. Funny thing is, most of the time, I set it up the same way you did in this video.

    This was a very good video! Well balanced in gear, camping, and cooking. I came for the tarp but enjoyed everything. Much love 🇵🇸 🇵🇸 🇵🇸

    Loved the video. That would be the perfect setup for me. The mesh FIREPIT & the onetigris mesh tent was the icing on the cake. I've always felt the 4x4 tarp was to big for me but I'll persevere

      I think the 4x4 is a really good size, but I guess you need to be aware of how you set it up as I can be a pain in the wind. I really like it. But yeah, it’s not for everyone. Thanks for watching!!!

      @wheelmanjosh1982…. New viewer here with the same question. I checked the gear list under “More”, but didn’t see the pack listed. So I’m curious along with you. Looks like a nice ruck.

    @TheMidweekEscapeArtist First time on your channel ill definitely drop you a Sub
    I would really like to know what brand Boots and Trousers are your wearing they look comfortable as heck!!
    Be lucky 🍀 and thanks for the good content ✌️
    PS I'm into Tarp and Tipi style camping like the Zelti and Lavvu etc they are definitely hard wearing and versatile great with a litte wood burner in the colder weather!

  • @magentika

    Doesn’t it feel cold with that open tent design? Im biased tho as currently car camping with mini oil heater on, wool blankie etc etc 😊

    • @TheMidweekEscapeArtist
      @TheMidweekEscapeArtist  Год назад +1

      My sleeping bag is very warm and as long as I can stay out of the wind I’m pretty cozy ;-) sounds like luxury, I’m might have to look into that.

      @@TheMidweekEscapeArtist I guess if it’s not very windy it wouldn’t be as bad. I guess i am a bit lux camping cos baby fin heater also dries and warms up rained upon beanie 😆.

    What kind of canopy tent do you use?

  • @Cascalonginus1
    @Cascalonginus1 Месяц назад

    Is that fahrenheit or Celsius? I'm guessing Celsius. That's only like 55 fahrenheit. I thru-hiked the AT and can't believe how bundled he is.even when it was still freezing everyone would be wearing running shorts and a synthetic T-shirt once they were moving. Otherwise your sweating and catching a chill. Seems like most of these Bushcraft camping videos the guy's are wearing heavy duty clothing especially those pants with big reinforced patches on the knees. I'd be dying.
