Love the close ups and the dryer sheet trick! So many great methods! ❤️ Thanks!
Thank you Gavi! 🙂
Amazing video!! Thank you for the tips and tricks .
Thank you for the ideas.
Super creative ! Loved the video ! Txs !
That was a great video. You showed some good new ideas for using the gilding flakes.
Great tutorial!!! Thanks!❤
Thank you!! This video was very informative!!!!
Great video!
love how you used different mediums
Just watched this video. Soooooooo helpful
Thanks sweetie so cool.
Amazing! Thank you for sharing the dryer sheet hack, genius! I also love how you stirred the flakes with the back of your brush. Awesome
Thank you Autumn! 💗
Thank you great tips
Wow, what a wonderfully made video - your close up shots were so great, so crispy clean and clear. I'm on the fence honestly. I cannot decide if I can handle this type stuff or not - the normal size gilding flakes are quite different, for sure. Yes, these seem quite "flighty" as you call them and my hands are spastic so I can picture the future and it isn't pretty with tiny flakes flying everywhere. However, I love that purple card created with the duo gel! It's beautiful! I am impressed with all of the cards but the butterflies are gorgeous and the stamp with the feathers came out so very well and with so much detail. Great job all around - from the dog interruption (so cute) to the close-ups on all your creative ideas! Thanks so much.
Thank you Cassie! There are some really pretty foil sheets out there that are so pretty. I think that would be similar but without the mess. The flakes did give my fingernail polish a little extra pizzazz for a few days tho! 🤣🤣
Great, informative video... love the super close angle to see more details. TFS and have a great day! 🙂
Thank you Sue 😊
Just getting to using the flakes. Great video! Merci!
Thank you Christine!! I haven't played with then in awhile...thank you for the reminder that I need to get them out!
Great techniques 😍 I love your gorgeous cards ❤ thanks for sharing your creativity Hugs xx take care
Thank you Joan!❤
Thanks for the tips! I hadn't thought of some of these.
Messy fun Dawn 😁
Thank you Jen,! Appreciate the time you took to show us all of those examples for using Gilding flakes with different kinds of adhesives. After seeing how the butterflies came out, makes me think that just maybe I should try it out one day. But the mess, I am messy enough as it is.
Hi Cynthia! The mess is a little intimidating but the flakes are so pretty!
WoW bravo 👍
Wow so many tips...defo gonna try duo gel! Thank you for sharing
Thanks so much Amy!
These were some really great tips for the guilding flakes. I only have the gold ones by Nuvo but liked those different colored ones you had. Really pretty. And yes they are a mess to work with. Done have your ceiling fan on!!
Thank you Sue! There definitely has to be no airflow at all with these! lol
Great ideas. Tfs.
Thank you Sylvia! ♥️
WOW
... WOW
WOW
Be Still My Heart..
This is SOOOOOOOOO BEAUTIFUL
Where can we buy these Gilding Flakes...?
Thank you for sharing this great video
Thank you for this video, I am wanting to buy these but wasn't able to view the colors on the website, this is cool I can see all, and you have such a great video so relaxing to watch when you used the brush to clean up the first project. thanks ;)
Thank you so much Margie! They are super messy but so, so beautiful! 😊
great video, thanks. I love using gilding flakes, but I've not used the brand that you had.... might try them, very pretty colors.
Thank you Debbie! 😊
Years ago I bought gilding flakes from Craftstash in the UK. I admit when I buy something I buy it all. So I have about 15 different colors. There was so much in each jar that I shared them with a card making friend. I don't use them a lot but when I do I'll make the same card using every color. They are so messy, but that's the fun part of using them and glitter.
They certainly are beautiful aren't they? Thank you for reminding me that I should get them out! I don't think I've used them since I made this video.
Great video
Thanks so much!
Wawooooooo😍😘
So pretty but I am glad it was you and not me! I do have some of these, I haven't opened them yet...I'm scared !!LOL. I dread cleaning them up, I bought them to make my sister's birthday card, but all I have done is look at them in the package!!! Maybe next year!!!
I have seen a few videos where people use a box to put their card into and then add the flakes. At least they are contained that way and dont end up all over your desk.
Lol Pam! 😆😆
Here is a GOOD Idea...
Give your Sister the Gilding Flakes for HER Birthday!!!
Kill 2 Birds with one stone... "Ta-Da"
@@judichristopher4604 this is hilarious, if you knew my sister! She is the biggest clean freak I have EVER known, she wouldn't even mind the clean up, the lady loves to clean!!

So... I had a great idea?
Give her Gilding Flakes? Yes?
Great video,So many ideas,I wish I watched a week ago as just bought sticky embossing powder,Not a fan at all!My new gilding flakes arrived yesterday, and forgot how messy it is 🤣 ,I tend to use sticky tape, and glue stick, but definitely going to purchase the deco glue I think 🤗,hope today is not the only day I play with them🤔🤣
Thank you again! I wasn't a fan of the powder either, glad I'm not the only one! I've used the flakes once since I made this video...they are worse than glitter but so so pretty!
@@jenleecardmaking Well since posting this,I bought some gilding glue some very strange metallic powders and used once then put away lol,we live and learn lol
Dollar Tree dry Swiffer sheets for clean up!
I love your tutorial on Aurora flakes. You are awesome! My question is did you create the green colour or did you find it? I can't seem to locate that particular green anywhere. Thanks so much
Hi Alma! Thank you, I'm so glad you enjoyed the video. The green mix is called Jade Gold. Scrapbook com has it in stock ❤
@@jenleecardmaking thank you
How long did you wait to add flakes with the cosmic shimmer??
Appreciate your honesty with the sticky embossing powder! Too iffy and hard to work with for me! I may just throw it away!
Hi, the other flakes are IndigoBlu. xx
I don't mind messy, but these look MESSY! I loved the one with the alcohol ink, I would have never have thought of that.
Lol yes, very messy! It stuck to everything but it all came off eventually 😆😆
I love the product but hate shedding shimmer everywhere! After you buff the flakes thoroughly do they still stick to your fingers when handling the card? I really want to make these work for me!!!
Thanks! Paula in Florida
Hi Paula! I haven't had any issues with flakes coming off after burnishing. I think as long as you burnish really well and wipe off any loose flakes its pretty much stuck in the adhesive.
I've been trying to find these colors and I cant find them anywhere, especially the blue purple and green gold
They are probably discontinued unfortunately.

What is the love die?
Hi! The love die is a Trinity Stamps die.
where can i magic mats?
How to get gilded flakes off my hands?...SJ
Hi Serry Jane! I usually take a dryer sheet first and then anything left over I use a kitchen scrubber or just water and soap. Hope this helps!
@@jenleecardmaking Warming Epson RUB works great!!
I wonder? Mine hasn’t arrived yet, but I’m going to try my staze on embossing stamp pad. I’m getting nervous watching all these “real people” vids. The company vids had pros and great editing. Looks like real people are working w a mess?
Yeh, they are pretty messy! I just make sure that I have a paper or something to catch them and no breeze at all lol
Dogs will be dogs.
Wow, those are really messy! Pretty but messy.
Thank you Kelly! You got that right 😀
Looks like a big hot mess! Lol
