that's why I liked the tobin ones as soon as jigsaw was killed and some apprentice took over it stopped being the crime thriller we know it was intended to be, it just became another gorefest slasher type set of films after which made it boring and uninteresting, jigsaws character had a cause and class it made you want to follow and understand his philosophy on what it means to actually appreciate living, when the antagonist was switched it just became I'm being petty F you please die and that wasn't what the lessons were about at all ruining the point of pretty much everything.
Tobin Bell is one of the great actors I want to see/meet personally before I die. He's so professional and I noticed the effortless acting skills on him. He's calm that what makes the movie so real. What I love about this movie is the message they want to deliver. The quotes/messages are just true to life. Hope they'll make a new saw movie again. I watch these all over again.
@crispyPotatoe well more like Kramer wanted to build a legacy of teachings but as soon as he died everybody went fuck that and just decided to do it for petty reasons intending for everybody to die, the code Kramer had set was not necessarily intended for the "contestants" to die he wanted them to succeed and made sure he gave enough clues and hints for them to, the others kept everything fixated on very little survivability with extremely vague context to gain freedom, the others absolutely didn't want to teach a lesson or have anybody get free with a better sense of what it means to live.
Literally the only one thing that i disliked about this film was how clean it looked. Where's the rusty, industrial, grimy look? I missed that. Also, what was the deal with flat screen TVs and Billy's glowing eyes? Those looked pretty dumb not gonna lie
@@Elfo_Scuro But he.. was. They use the flat screen tv in the game that was supposed to have taken place BEFORE the first movie where they used CRT tvs. I understand it was made in 2017 when flat screen tvs are common place but it doesn't make sense in universe. And they kept the tape recorders so idk why they couldn't have kept everything else old looking, ESPECIALLY if they want to put the game as the first in the timeline.
These were some of John Kramer's first traps, so he was likely a bit too attentive to the imagery of it all. The same is also shown with the Knives Chair trap, which was a very clean and straight forward game.
The best thing about saw movies is that they never have anything that is differen’t from normal life nothing paranormal or something linked to satanism like in many many other movies.
Stumbled right out of the gate lol Saw 1 wasn't great because of "jumps" it was great because it was simple and you didn't know a twist was coming (which is something you can't ever do in a saw film ever again)
I personally love the idea of the Saw franchise, but I feel that the movies kill off too many people. I know it's meant to be shocking, but it can't be completely merciless, otherwise we will just get desensitized and bored.
The thing that surprises me is that he has all this time in the world to put people in traps , let alone create the traps get everything in place to make sure everything runs smoothly weather is good or bad and John still had no jail time 😂😂😂😂😂
i was wondering if they should make a whole book series about all the jigsaw but add more to it in writing that would be a hit😭 I NEED A WHOLR SERIES ABOUT JIGSAW
I loved the movie but the shotgun scene really make no sense. It’s certainly possible for a gun to blow up like that but extremely rare especially under those circumstances. It’s not something Jigsaw could just make happen every time. It makes no sense that the shell would discharge in the opposite directed than it’s facing.
I love all the SAW movies, but - don't care what people say - Jigsaw might be the best one of them all. That shock and total disbelief I experienced during that movie, just wow. I never felt that (at least not this intense) in any other saw movie. Well done. But it didn't feel like back to SAW 1 to me what the guy in the video said. It felt completely new. A new era, a new generation, John Kramer is dead and gone. And that's also why it was just unreal to see him show up alive and well in this new movie. (At least..., well we've all seen it.)
Killing methods and tools are very creative. There is need to substantially engineering and carpentry experience and ability for composing such methods and tools. In my opinion, I was impressed by killing methods and tools more than brutality. Great job!
The movie was so superfluous, had nothing to do with 1-7 and the traps were crap... really bad movie. Not even scary, the locations looked so clean, in all the other movies it looked so dirty and authentic. They could have made so much of it, but it was just disappointing.
What you saw in the movie happened years ago. John Kramer was dead for years. The detective just replayed the same game and recording and distorting his voice to sound like kramer
Alejandra Hernandez the trap you see on screen is in the past. Everything else is present day. If your familiar to saw you'll know the timeline is all over the place. The game in this movie is way before the events of saw 1. The first trap is when john tests Cecil and then this one comes after it. Hope this cleared things up a bit
JIGSAW | All Release Bonus Features [Blu-Ray/DVD 2018]
FilmIsNow Movie Bloopers & Extras hi I'm sorry no one els commenced
Its scary you know 100% scary
See saw series first tgen you will change your mind
Loved Jigsaw. I don't care what anyone says. It was a good movie
Yes
same
Same. Just saw it for the fist time this week.
Louis H same I watched the first one when I was 11
Yah its my favorite movie because all the traps are so cool
Tobin Bell is a tremendous actor and the only reason the Saw franchise worked.
I feel the same way. Tobin was the only choice for Jigsaw. Looking back now, no one could have pulled it off like Tobin has
@@JasonTylerRicci
I agree.
I wouldn’t say the only reason but for sure the main reason. The core concept of traps is always intriguing when done right
I got to meet Tobin Bell last year. He's really nice, and is just as calm as in the movies.
Oh my God! Lucky you. Where did you meet him btw?
That is soo cool
Same
@dubelow I'm pretty sure he or she meant what location lmao
OMG LUCKY!
Im glad they went back to the thriller aspect and not just making it about 'how gruesome and horrific can we make it'
that's why I liked the tobin ones as soon as jigsaw was killed and some apprentice took over it stopped being the crime thriller we know it was intended to be, it just became another gorefest slasher type set of films after which made it boring and uninteresting, jigsaws character had a cause and class it made you want to follow and understand his philosophy on what it means to actually appreciate living, when the antagonist was switched it just became I'm being petty F you please die and that wasn't what the lessons were about at all ruining the point of pretty much everything.
ye same here
the brutal parts were my least favorite

The only jigsaw will always tobin bell
DOOM GAMING yeah, he died from
Cancer I didn’t like that
Patrick Meng Actullay, I am talking about In Real Life.
Patrick Meng is my hero
I remember when Amanda said I will carry on johns legacy when John dies and even that didn’t sound believable 😂😂😂😂😂
We loved this movie 💀🔥👏🏼
Death Row Series same it’s the most best movie
Tobin is literally the sweetest person in real life💜
The one horror movie that has logic and I love how it is just one man causing this
Twistdam it’s not just one man, it’s also Hoffman, Dr Gordon, Amanda, Logan and others throughout the franchise
Cyanyde true, but john was gonna die anyways so it was gonna happen eventually
You can hate the saw movies but you can‘t hate tobin bell and john kramer as a charakter
Literally the only one thing that i disliked about this film was how clean it looked. Where's the rusty, industrial, grimy look? I missed that. Also, what was the deal with flat screen TVs and Billy's glowing eyes? Those looked pretty dumb not gonna lie
Because years are passed in reality and in the movie. And Kramer wasn't the "game master" of this movie
@@Elfo_Scuro But he.. was. yes!!! thats it! i always wondered why i didnt like jigsaw... but thats it! it didnt have that dirty, rusty, feel to it.

@@plague_kat yeah that makes sense now I’m sad
:(
The best thing about saw movies is that they never have anything that is differen’t from normal life nothing paranormal or something linked to satanism like in many many other movies.
I mean... Satanism is laced into a lot of things in modern American life... And most people don't even notice it...
YES IT MAKES IT SO REALISTIC AND GENUINELY SCARY
Wish I could get on the set and meet Tobin. To me a master of his art. Note X files. Sg1 etc
I have jigsaw puzzle tattooed ❤️ imagine how much I do live jigsaw 😍
What did u think of spiral?
That last scene in jigsaw where they have the shot gun kinda reminds me of saw 1 with Gordon and Adam
I was hoping dr gordon would come back but he didn‘t :(((
Yea i though the same !
Lena Neumann Ikr
I don't want dr Gordon back
He came back in the last film lol
Logan kinda looks like Dr Gordon
Stumbled right out of the gate lol
Saw 1 wasn't great because of "jumps" it was great because it was simple and you didn't know a twist was coming (which is something you can't ever do in a saw film ever again)
UN REPLACED TOBIN BELL. WITHOUT HIM JIGSAW IS NOTHIN. ❤️❤️❤️
This movie is underrated
I personally love the idea of the Saw franchise, but I feel that the movies kill off too many people. I know it's meant to be shocking, but it can't be completely merciless, otherwise we will just get desensitized and bored.
Saw is best scary film ever along with wrong turn
Saw= Logic.
Yeah, ok
We speak for the dead hear John saying that pure gold
I want Tobin Bell back in Saw 9 as Jigsaw. He's the real one! But I don't think that this is possible because he's dead in the movie.
Please make more newer saw movies with newer traps
Daku Hall i agree
Daku Hall they did in 2018
Daku Hall I mean 2017
Thumbs up Mr bell
I honestly thought the twist who the apprentice was easy. It took me about 5 seconds after he came on the screen to say it was him and it was.
Gordon Hotchkiss agreed. I thought it was too obvious.
The thing that surprises me is that he has all this time in the world to put people in traps , let alone create the traps get everything in place to make sure everything runs smoothly weather is good or bad and John still had no jail time 😂😂😂😂😂
I love watching Tobin Bell in saw his a great actor

There right though. Its more pf a thriller than a horror.
just saw spiral, I’m surprised how good that movie makes this one look lol
Loved jigsaw ❤👍👍👍
I was traumatized of your films....
And now i wanna be part of it
I mean i wanna be an actor hahahah
i love the saw movies love tobin bell and the billy puppet
*when those years twist you know it's going down*
Sadly Jigsaw was one of the weaker movies of the franchise, let's see how "Spiral" will be
bro i want John Kramer in SAW 9
Better than Saw 3D.
Weaker? Mmmh still better than Saw 2,5,6 and 7. Saw 1 was the best, Saw 3/4 at the same time and after Jigsaw.
@@Elfo_Scuro I think 2 was pretty good. For me it was one of the best in the series
Jigsaw was a pretty good film but when it comes to traps and gore it was definitely the weakest
It was good but there were a few issues that I had with it. Then again what movie doesn't have flaws.
I loved the movie but the shotgun scene really make no sense. It’s certainly possible for a gun to blow up like that but extremely rare especially under those circumstances. ...its Brilliant.....you feel better
Hope I spelled it correct ...
You didn't it's "brilliant" not "Brilliant".
Tobin Bell icon.
Jigsaw was the last movie I SAW before I had my stroke
Just stumbled on this randomly, sorry to hear that. Are you doing well now?
@@carljim2274 yes thank you

Without Tobin Bell, this movie would be meaningless, congratulations.
"There was a lot more thinking"
Yeah you kind of stopped doing that after 3.
