When I was a kid I would go and watch my brother dive there. He went off the rocks though. Spear fished for Blackfish. So long ago, It might have been before the last Manasquan inlet renovation. It was very different back then.
A lot of free divers go toward the end of the jetty and spear black fish, striped bass and fluke. I'm sure it was different before Hurricane Sandy
