    Oh my Eric just absolutely wonderful and I want to add something. When I left the JW organization yes, I felt miserable and betrayed. I’m healing and yet this healing process is not easy. When I went door to door in my ministry I always felt empty n I was beginning to wonder if I would ever be accepted by Jehovah or Christ and why do I feel so alone. I was criticized that I’m not doing enough in my ministry and needed to place our magazines. Enough of that! Now to get on with my finding of joy is when I started to study the Word of God Exegetically, letting Jehovah and Christ teach me. This was after I read your amazing book Eric. I gave this method of learning into practice and what glorious wisdom came to my heart. Honestly I felt so uplifted and it doesn’t come immediately. It comes only when you’ve given yourself a chance to destroy what you’ve been taught as a Jw and start over. It’s difficult but boy is it ever worth it. I’ve written invitations and I’m inviting anyone that wants to read the Bible with me and partake refreshments. Hebrews 10:24,25. I have created my own ministry that’s from the Bible as the early Christians used to do at each others homes. I took the example of Daniel and followed it verse by verse from the Bible and wrote it down so I could understand where I’m going with this exegetical study and from start to finish all became clear. The same goes with Matthew 24 and 25. This is what I call a blessing from Jehovah. I’m not afraid anymore in explaining what I believe and what a joy and peace it is to finally be free from guilt, knowing you finally came on the narrow road to salvation. Thank you Eric so much for your fantastic videos.it keeps me motivated to continue my studies.❤😂👍🥰

A Christian living by means of a spirit-energised and well directed faith through the high-priest of our ruling Lord Jesus the Christ, is the very intimate indentification of each individual Christian who remains exclusive of a claimed affiliation to a fabricated religious denomination. The apostle Paul spoke "spiritual words" everywhere that he went, and yet in city after city he was shunned, attacked and beaten by the very ones who claimed to be God's chosen people. Their lack of Christ-like LOVE is appalling and, as with Paul, it is our clue to leave since they have left Christ. I remember when I was having a bible study in the 80's , the elder ( now deceased) said something that I always found quite intriguing. He said that the Bible, or at least the Christian Greek scripture component( the new testament) , was written primarily for the spirit anointed class, or the 144000 - hence why it was that the Greek scriptures contain many references to heavenly life. Whilst I do believe that humans will ultimately reside forever on a cleansed earth under the rulership of Gods kingdom ( as so clearly indicated by the smashing of the great statue by Gods kingdom described in the Book of Daniel) because this makes total sense in the context of what God originally planned for the earth ( and Gods word and intention always comes back to him fulfilled) however, I have always wondered why there is very little of this seemingly very critical narrative of "paradise earth" being discussed directly and openly by Jesus or by the apostles - since it will effect the majority of humans resurrected or otherwise. There is some mention in Revelation but it is few and far between. That the paradise earth is the eventuality for most of the resurrected humans (and the planet itself) under the rule of Gods kingdom, would seem to me as being worthy of far more scriptural revelation and discussion than has been given. The scriptural references alluding to an earthly paradise are mostly in the Hebrew scriptures in Isaiah, Daniel and Psalms for example.

    • @BeroeanPickets
      @BeroeanPickets  Месяц назад

      References to "paradise" in the Greek Scriptures do not point to a garden-like Earth. (Luke 23:43; 2 Corinthians 12:4; Revelation 2:7) Instead, a spiritual condition is being referred to. I agree that the ultimate goal is to restore humanity to the state that God intended from the start had Adam and Eve not sinned. But that is not the reward currently being offered. What Jesus preaches and what constitutes the good news is entry into the kingdom of God for those who will rule with Christ. Through them, and only through them alongside our Lord, can the "earthly paradise" be restored.

    Dear Eric, this is a most intriguing, and thought provoking subject! I had to think about this for a few days. You make some excellent points here. Agreed that Holy Spirit is not given out to organisations, but to individuals when they believe, and accept Christ. Keeping that in mind...The Spirit is an intangible thing. I agree that only those with Holy Spirit (HS) are able to understand scripture (correctly). That is biblically true in itself, as the Apostle Paul indicated in( 1Cor2.14 ) and other scripts. However... we cannot say comprehensively that everyone that has the HS understands the Bible correctly either. In other words...many who have the HS remain in error. Speaking of myself, I am confident that I have the HS, however...not so confident that I have all the right answers, in fact I have more questions than answers. Take yourself for example, I'm sure, and it seems obvious that you have the HS, however didn't you also have it it while you were a member of the corrupt JW org. while spreading false teachings? You thought you were doing well at the time, but you've gone on to improve your knowledge, yet not all of your current beliefs are perfected still? Those with HS strive to improve knowledge, however never quite achieving the pinnacle of pure understanding. It's an ongoing learning curve. That means there are people in many diverse Christian religions...E.g... Catholic, Lutheran, Baptist Jehovah's Witness...etc...etc possessing HS regardless of the flawed religious beliefs they currently support? I know people in all of the aforementioned religions, and many of them are much more zealous about spreading the Gospel than myself. I'm sure they have the HS, they just have not perfected their knowledge yet. They seem to find comfort , and feel it's necessary in belonging to some name brand church, unfortunately thy just settle into the dogma of said religion regardless of the error that goes along with it, and they then cease to learn.. Personally, I wont join a name brand church because I feel it would compromise my free thinking, and devotion to Christ. Conclusion: The Holy Spirit is the key to understanding the Bible, however it does not guarantee immediate, or rapid success, and to say comprehensively that all of those with flawed teachings & beliefs don't posses HS is painting with too broad of brush. They may be slow learners, complacent, or stubborn, yet they're still somewhere along the long path leading to God. Rest assured the Lord knows who they are. John 10.22>
    Thanks, and Support always! :)

      @northernexposure8622 • I agree with you. Having holy spirit doesn't grant us all knowledge. But if we are to understand, we have to have it, otherwise, we misunderstand and get led down the garden path, either by other men/women or by our own ego.

    Hi Eric, thanks for another video. As our Lord said, by the deeds or actions (in combination with the manifestation of the fruit of the Spirit) of people, we can see who the children of God are, and who only claim to be, but their lives and deeds show the opposite.
    Often a tree may look outwardly healthy and attractive, but the fruits can be infected and even rotten, they just need to be thrown away, and sometimes this happens to people.

    Thank You Eric.
    You say that no religious leader understood the wisdom of God. the bible does not give details of all individuals.
    Gamaliel was part of the Sanhedrin, yet he took a stand for the apostles and said that fighting them would be fighting God Acts 5:38,39
    Acts 13:15
    "After the reading of the law and the prophets, the leaders of the synagogue said to them: “Brothers, if you have some words of encouragement to address to the people, speak!” and Paul gets up and begins to speak.
    Not all religious leaders muzzled the words of the apostles.
    For other individuals like Cornelius it is said that before he converted, his prayers and gifts were taken up before God Acts 10:4
    Yet Cornelius had not yet understood who Christ was, but God listened to his prayers and noticed his works.
    Apollos:
    "He was learned in the way of the Lord and, full of fervor, he proclaimed and taught accurately what concerns Jesus, although he knew only the baptism of John. (Acts 18.25) Priscilla and Aquila will take him with them to explain to him more clearly the way of God. However, before that he did not understand everything, but that did not prevent him from having the Spirit of God.
    I find it dangerous to put all Christians of all religions in the same bag.
    Many have accepted Christ as the Son of God and strive to demonstrate the love that identifies true Christians (and not a knowledge thing).
    Worshiping with the Spirit and the truth means following Christ because he is the Truth.
    Following Him does not mean that we are never wrong in our beliefs. No one can claim that everything they believe is the truth. We can just pretend that we are striving to follow the Truth which is Christ. The Truth is a path on which we advance little by little at our own pace.
    You say in a comment that we are still learning. Yes indeed. So, at some point, before we learned, we didn't know, we were wrong about certain subjects. Does this mean that we did not have the Spirit of God? I believe that we could still have the Spirit of God who is patient with everyone.

    • @derek2557
      @derek2557 Месяц назад

      Worshipping in Spirit and Truth first requires that we study exegetically, to find out that the truth is. Once we find that what we practiced was not in line with what we thought, or was led to believe by man made religions, we must then start to practice what we are learning, then we begin to worship in spirit and truth. After all, if you are taking notice of what you are being told by someone else, how do you know it to be true? 1st Thessalonians 5:19-22, 2nd Corinthiams 13:5

      @nicole-si9ie Месяц назад

      @@mamajan99I never said that we had to stay in an “antichrist” organization. The antiChrist denies Christ, this is not the case for some religious groups. I say that it is each individual who counts and not an organization. I said that no one has all the truth and that we can have the Spirit of God even if we are wrong on certain subjects. The apostles were far from having understood everything when they received the holy spirit at Pentecost. Moreover, Christ had already breathed holy spirit on them when they thought that Christ would return in their time and it took them a while to understand the resurrection of Christ. see John 20:9, 22. To be clear, I would like to point out that I have been excommunicated from Jehovah's Witnesses and that I am not part of any religious organization but I appreciate Christians who do not always have the same point of view than me. I see their love for Christ, their beautiful lifestyle, and their desire to learn. I find that former Jehovah's Witnesses are quick to judge and condemn, just like when we were in this organization.
      Christ said: "All that the Father gives me will come to me, and he who comes to me I will not cast out. (John 6:37)

      @@mamajan99I was excommunicated, so that's not the problem. I meet sincere Christians who love God and have Christian values from another religious group. I am not a member but I feel united with them. No one has all the Truth. The truth is Christ and we are walking in His path, but we have not yet arrived at the goal. We all know partially. God knows. I don't believe in any organization, I believe in disciples of Christ scattered everywhere. The important thing is that no one takes Christ's place but continues to learn from Him and from each other. We have our conscience "which allows us to examine everything and retain what is good" 1 Thessalonian 5: 21

      Yup they are all 501 (c) 3 creatures of the state and ALL OF THEM fall under the United Nations. The true biblical message is only beginning to surface now. We have all been participating in being a dead body corporate, blowing hot and cold. We are the dead burying the dead. We have had another god before Yhvh involved in idolatry without even realizing it. A Corporation is idolatry.
      It is a hard pill to swallow because we have been sold a lie from our youth.
      One's faith in Yeshua Messiah is going to be put to the test and ones we comprehend how his blood sacrifice for our God given christian name was done to take away all legal indebtedness for us to relinquish all legal title person surname fraud so that we follow the Messiah and not man and mammon. (Mathew 6:24) Job 32:21-22 is clear Persons or anyone with a title will be lead away which means executed, and person comes from the Greek word kanah which is one with a title especially a surname. There is a Christian remedy in law to live in natural equity and free ourselves from the slavery of this system. Going to be a very hard pill to swallow for the rich, they enjoy the Mammon side of gain and unless we sacrifice ALL we don't stand a chance from what I can see. (2 Peter 2:3 ; Proverbs 11:15).

And this is the promise that He Himself made to us: eternal life. I have written these things to you about those who are trying to deceive you. And as for you, the anointing you received from Him remains in you, and you do not need anyone to teach you. @BeroeanPickets i’ve always asked myself. Why is God require all this worship? Like where is the self-confidence being the divine creator of everything? If you’re self-assured and confident in your skin, or in God’s case, cosmic skin, Why does he even need our worship? Doesn’t that seem narcissistic? And why demand it? Can’t he just let us live our lives and not have to do these things? Can’t we just show our appreciation through obedience? I mean, I agree with showing him appreciation and being thankful and all that. I am very grateful for everything and divine creator has done for us. But Why does He require us to worship him Through the hamster wheel of going To meetings all the time and engaging in a ministry work?

    • @derek2557
      @derek2557 Месяц назад

      First you need to understand the essence of the word worship. At it's basic level, it means to recognise, or give recognition to, with regard to showing great respect, honor, or devotion.
      So many people misunderstand this concept.
      From recognition comes love, with love comes responsibilty, that responsibility goes full circle to gratitude, faith and action. That is worship. What did you have in mind?
      God is not looking for abject cringing piety. When he created Adam and Eve, he gave them control, dominion or governorship over all that was on the earth. That couple merely needed to recognise that God was the creator and knew what is best for us.
      However Satan's lies made it look as if he knew better than God. When Adam and Eve gave in to Satan's view, is when Satan became ruler of the world.They gave it to him. We have no say in that. Therefore gratitude and recognition is due to God for his plan found at Genesis 3:15. That goes to Jesus too. I am not saying we should worship Jesus, but to give him recognition for his major, major part in that plan. Of course, I am not limiting God to be worthy of worship just of his actions at Genesis 3:15.

      @@derek2557 Why would we not worship Jesus? He created all things. I don't know about you, but I want to worship the being who created me! I agree that it is not "cringy piety." All those things you mentioned....recognition, respect, honor, devotion, gratitude and love...that is worship....Worship is humans responding to what our creator has done for us. To worship in spirit and truth means that it comes from our heart (spirit) and that it is genuine (truth). We don't need to have all the answers to the questions we have for God in order to worship Him with genuine humble surrender. In fact, we cannot really be led toward deeper truths unless we are open to being shown by Him that we might be wrong about something. God just wants your humble and contrite heart (Isaiah 66:2) First-century followers worshipped Jesus, as do his followers today.

      @@melaniewilson5372 Hi Melanie,
      Yes I see your point(s).
      Well, one can always give fuller, more rounded out answers when addressing one subject, as opposed to an answer in general terms.
      Does our worship of Jesus not occur if we respond to his word by trying to become footstep followers of our messiah? In those terms, yes I agree with you.
      However, if the main point of my wording was poor and lacked definition, I apologise. I was merely trying to draw a comparison between God and his son. Surely had it not been for God, then Jesus would not exist, would he?
      Under those circumstances, primarily our recognition etc, etc as mentioned before, spills over to Jesus quite naturally.
      Worshipping in spirit and truth first requires us to find out for ourselves, as much as humanly possibly (we are all limited by our intellect), what truth is, not to follow what someone else tells us. That is why the Holy spirit exists, isnt it?
      So exegetical study rather than eisegetic study is a must. Worshipping in spirit means, as you say, coming from the heart, but be careful here, afterall, Saul was practicing what came from the heart, was he not?; but it also means having the spirit to leave behind what we once thought we knew in favour of what we find Saul to Paul!
      What would be the point of allowing the spirit to come from the heart, if we did not have the truth of God's word? How then could we worship in spirit?
      Now your ending point is more contentious. If you follow a religion that was so bady corrupted by at the latest the Nicean Council of 325CE. Then you are most definitely not worshipping as the early Christians did.
      As Eric so elequantly pointed out, without the aid of the Holy Spirit, the Bible is encrypted. One gains the aid of the Holy Spirit by honest hearted searching of the Bible exegetically. If we search with eisegesis why would God grant you his spirit? Indeed if you do search with preconceived ideas, how honest is your search?

      No one knows who the anointed are. However, Romans 8:16 is interesting. This whole thing revolves around searching the scriptures with no preconceived ideas. Not an easy thing to do, but exegetical study is an absolute necessity. But finding the truth is no good unless you put into practice what you find. At the point you reach and act on what you find, then Matthew 13:44-45 applies. Then Romans 8:16 occurs to us individually, but not before applying John 4:21-24. First the search, then the actions, then the knowledge or conviction. No one else can attest to anyone else’s anointing.

      @derek2557 Jesus was annointed just after his baptism and John was able to testify. First disciples were anointed on the day of pentecost, there was a visible proof of that. Disciples in Samaria were anointed by laying hands of apostles. Simon SAW the spirit was being given by laying of hands (Ac 8:18). Heb.6:1,2 says the laying on of hands is a foundational doctrine. Gal.5:19-23 is about keeping on walking in spirit, not about anointing by spirit. If, for example, you would feel you are anointed, my first question would be who laid hands upon you and who gave the one laying hands that authority. Otherwise I wouldn't believe you would be anointed and would be just like Eric said, you'd be fooling yourself. The power of imagination is enormous. I personally don't think there are anointed today as they were in the first century. I simply can't apply verses from the Bible on myself if context is clear it was said to somebody else. It would be like as if I would read Gen.6:14 and then I would start to build an ark, just because it reads "make for yourself an ark". Heb.2.3,4 clearly sets time boundaries of mighty deeds and distribution of holy spirit to the first century.
