this honestly made me feel so much better about uni, im year 12 but i've been around to look at unis and have felt really scared by the whole thing but knowing that you and probably else was feeling that way about uni makes me feel better about going bc everyone's going to be in the same boat, good luck with second year!!
I'M a chinese uni sophomore student and ready to get my master degree in UK. I might give you some information or advice from the aspect of chinese uni life. And i wish I could make friend with you
Also freshers week was definitely NOT my best week of my life, I am not into heavy drinking or clubbing at all and I just hated the expectation for students to do this. However, I am starting to enjoy it a bit more and do daytime activities x
I will hopefully be starting university next year so I really appreciate the fact that you took the time to break down your thoughts and opinions on the whole uni experience
I finished my first year in 2006 (17 years ago, omg!). In 2018, I graduated from the university with a PhD degree. Good luck with your studies! Greetings to the UK!

As someone who has just finished second year in mechanical engineering (University of Galway), I would say that doing consistent but not excessive (or crammed) Study is the key to academic success. Make sure to look over the lecture notes/material after EVERY lecture - it saves a lot of time and makes sure that you’ve learned the material. You could also look up techniques such as active recall or spaced repetition to further improve the efficiency of your study time. With regards to settling in - there’s no need to be nervous or to plan everything down to the minutiae, since everyone is in the same boat and circumstances rarely go exactly as planned. Enjoy your time and good luck!
@@lordsauron4556 Do you think TCD, UCD, UCC or DCU are better? Why'd you pick NUG over alternatives and how's your experience so far? My biggest question is how's the cost of living, tuition and accommodation since Dublin clearly has major issues in that regard. Also did you get any scholarships? Any reply would be appreciated, thanks.

love ur vid emma!! watching this has put my mind so at ease for uni in september!! was just wondering, i’m having to stay at home for 1st year and was just wondering if freshers is like the week before uni starts or the week it starts? xxxx
Hey Emma, I'm thinking of joining University of Edinburgh in next Feb intake, but i'm just so stressed about the environment there as an International student. I've never been away from my home and am habitual of being spoon-fed by my family in every single matter. So I'm just too scared. Also, I don't know who to contact or ask for help, I don't know anyone there :( But I just really wanna be a part of University of Edinburgh 😭
Great analysis, thank you! I need some advice: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (air carpet target dish off jeans toilet sweet piano spoil fruit essay). What's the best way to send them to Binance?
Hey! I am starting Edi Uni in September and everyone seems to have a gold wristband... Is this a scam or legit? It seems slightly dodgy but I am not sure! This video is really helpful, so thank you!!
I was in your position last year not knowing whether to buy one or not.. never did and I was very glad. All my friends who bought one never used it and regret it so I honestly wouldn’t bother! xx however if you feel more comfortable getting one then do it !
i'm so excited and nervous to start Uni thanks so much for this video🥰. Thankfully i am hoping for an ensuite. Not sure what i'm going to do for freshers since my local nightclub to my uni has closed down 🥲 Luckily my Uni is only an hour away from Home so i can go home if i want to 🥰 My worry isn't going out clubbing its afterwards when i crave takeaways which is where my money ends up going 😂

Hi emma

🤍
Hey for accommodation at Edinburgh, is it for the full academic year or just during term times? Like, would you be kicked out at the end of each term?
Hii ❤
Hi💗💗
hey!!
was it hard to get into your university?
TBH I didn’t see anything related to group chat or anything else in TSR😂
Quite wondering for a fresher group chat for Uoe
same, i couldnt find anything 😂
Do you still need to get a job in first year if you’re eligible for the full loan?
really depends on how much your accom is, what your living costs are and how much your parents are able to support you.
Did you gave any entrance test to get into the University!
Anyone here thinking of commuting to Edinburgh, or have done before? Any advice would be appreciated!
I’m doing the same. Living in East Lothian and not accommodation. Wee bit worried about making friends
Lovely sensible advice from a grounded young lady!
