Thank you soooo much for your video and the time you spend to sumarize it all. I love your video and everytime I plot my books I plays in the background and makes plotting sooo much easier.☺
Hi, I have watched a shit ton of videos on plot structures, and I just got to say, yours is the best, the only one which makes sense and is easy to understand and follow. Thank you so much! You've got yourself a new subscriber.
I've been a bit stuck writing my book, and your video was not only inspiring and informational, but funny. I hope you start making videos again soon, you're wonderful! Thanks 💕💕
Thank you so much for pointing me to Dan Well's lecture, I took a lot of notes and I feel like I learned a great deal. I'm new to the whole outline process, and the 7 Steps has been so useful so far, and his series just breaks it down into much more digestable portions. I'm a new subscriber. Thank you for all the help!
“Do my characters talk to me?” Made me realize I’m an observer and narrator in my characters lives. Which just helped me with a dilemma. I was considering rewriting in 1st person, instead of 3rd that I’ve been working in. Now I think I’m on the right track with 3rd, since I’m the observer/narrator. 🤩👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 So thank you! 😁
I know this is old and I’m just finding this video but you need to have two separate books because that’s a lot of gymnastics that you’re doing for your story. You wanna give each romance art his own thing so maybe they should be in their own books. I ran to the same problem, and I discovered that the two romances deserve their own books so the first book is gonna be about one sister’s romance and the other one about another sister’s romance then I’m gonna bring all the characters together in a third book which book in the trilogy.
Good morning, I found this genuinely interesting so thankyou for that. However, having watched three of your RUclips video's this morning I have failed to watch any through to the end. I was puzzled by this because you are an engaging presenter, you know your stuff and (unlike some of your countrymen) you're not all screamy, in your face, American - more like one of us Brits to be honest :-). I think it's to do with the tightness of the script and editing. Maybe your bubbly, effusive personality makes you wander off topic a little sometimes? Ironically, you occasionally come across as a pantser in the structuring of your video. Please don't be offended by my comments, I think your work is great and I offer my thoughts purely to aid your improvement. Best regards from the jolly old UK :-)
Stories don’t always end with status reversals. Episodic tv such as sitcoms end the same way they start. There are two major plot types that don’t have a status change at the end - the rise and fall (icarus) and the fall and rise (man in a hole). Often the character plots that go with the main action plot in these cases will be a rise or fall though.
Loved the examples here! Great video/editing on this
The absolute best layout with multiple examples.
You just made my life so much easier! Thank you for using movie as references. I realized I'm a visual learner 😅
This is a very well produced video. All the elements and the communication of such is top-flight.
Simply....Thank you.
Great video! Thank you, I learned so much! I hope you keep making videos.

Wow, excellent tactics. Thanks
Any thoughts on this.
Having advanced degrees in psychological research methods enables the production of fictional material?
Do you know how this could work if a story has two romance arcs, with two separate couples?

I tried pantsing a story and it's not working well for me so I'm trying to figure out how to plot now.

😂 thank you for the kind comments - no offense taken at all. I agree on wandering - making notes to cut down on the fluff for future vids 😉
