I have an iPad and a PC and I’m using them both in interchangeably and a lot of the writing that I do which is basic writing. Do you know anything about scrivener articulating between the iPad and PC I have dropbox so if I use the iPad and save to Dropbox with my iPad, can I pull it up on my PC through dropbox

I need help! I don’t understand what I did wrong. I only have Scrivener for my iPhone. I do not own the computer version. I wanted to make sure that my project would be saved as a back up in case my phone or app ever crashed. So here’s what I did. I clicked on sync with dropbox and I logged into my Dropbox account. It gave me an error, and then it brought me back to Scrivener and all of my projects were gone? I wrote 3000+ words and they were just… Deleted. There’s no way for me to recover them. Since this happened, I’ve started copying and pasting my projects into my Google documents. But this is very time-consuming. I would like to know if I were to try again will it all work? I don’t know why it did that. And now I’m scared to try and make a back up.

Do you know how to get page view on Ipad?? I need some stuff to start on a new page, but it doesn’t show where a new page is🙈

“Do my characters talk to me?” Made me realize I’m an observer and narrator in my characters lives. Which just helped me with a dilemma. Thank you for the great advice. I’ve been using Scrivener exclusively on my Ipad because that’s what I prefer to use, but I’m having difficulty navigating Scrivener on it. I’m going to try using it on my Mac laptop and will hopefully enjoy the interface there more.

This is awesome and thanks so much for your template. I wonder if you'd consider doing a Part 2 of this where you explain how you chose your Weaving folders and the content of each of these folders? For instance, the "Wizard Arrives" folder doesn't seem to necessarily correspond to one of the 7 plot points in the overall story, nor is it a "chapter." You seem to be weaving in several character plot points under one section heading. How would you define these sections? And...could you give an example (maybe this is another video) of how one weaves in plot points for the protagonist and antogonist in a scene? e.g. What would it look like for the protagonist's and antagonists's pinch point 1 to both exist in the same scene?

Thanks for posting. If I download Scrivner for iPad and plan on doing all my writing on my iPad can I use the files app to backup my project or do I still need drop box ?

I have the iPad as my traveling ‘laptop’ with the Logitech keyboard/case combo on the 10.9 inch. So when I saw that Scriv was for the iPad, I grabbed it and have since moved to Scrivener from Google Docs. Now I still have the Google Docs as a backup, I usually copy paste into the google doc before I finish for the day. I am LOVING Scrivener for background stuff like the character docs, the plot docs, research docs and all of that jazz. It has been a lifesaver and just about time as it’s PREPTOBER! As of this comment. I will most likely be using the app to run my NaNoWriMo 2023 story, that I sorta already started, but have barely 1400 words on. Barely over a 20th of the 50k….

Love the way you organise your cork board and overlap the rest … sounds like a very good plan. Having trouble following the desktop version on Mac as I only have Scrivener on my ipad…no other device.
