The best advertisement for this makeup is how you look in it. So pretty! I noticed your eyes immediately and was stunned that this is the green palette. Never would have guessed. I got the 06 Pulse (the one with the pop of orange) because the 01 Portrait (with purple) and 04 Poetry (with green) were out of stock on the US Prada site. I love the formula. I like it so much I ordered 01 when it came back in stock. I would have also gotten the 04 Poetry, but it was still sold out.
The formula lasted all day on my oily, hooded eyes (with primer, but I always wear primer).
I really like that you can wear the 3 neutral shades alone and it’s pretty look, you can add a touch of the pop of color, or you can really make a statement with the color. That’s a lot of versatility with a quad!
I’m really loving that luxury brands are releasing such beautiful and unique eyeshadow formulas lately! It’s been so much fun to try, and it’s added a lot to my eyeshadow collection.

Hi Lexi, agree that everything is that much more impressive in person, swatched, and worn beautifully by you. The eyeshadow finish is really nice and I see that they've made it possible to create a more neutral look with a pop of colour or conversely a colourful look enhanced by neutrals...very clever when you only have 3 shades per palette.

Lexi, so happy I’ve been waiting for this Prada review! The shadows do look better in your video than online. I wasn’t too sure how these were going to look. I like the two shadows you picked out. I like that they are different formulas and can be worn alone or together. The foundation looks great on you and looks like a great formula. I’m not the biggest fan of matte lipsticks but they did not appear drying. I will be purchasing the foundation & eyeshadows. Great job in reviewing & swatching the Prada collection. I wasn’t sure if I was going to purchase but after watching your video you changed my mind. Thanks! 😊🌺

I can’t believe I picked the correct color for that foundation. I bought LC5 and then watching this video, I thought, oops..but, phew it worked out to be great. I am not the lightest of skin tones and given there are 24+ shades I thought I must have been too hasty. Well, I was but also just lucky. It is beautiful, I might actually use this one.

Hi Lexi- thanks for your review! I want the #6 eyeshadow palette- no one seems to be talking about that one and I wish I could see that in a demo.. I would buy the green one in a minute if the green was a darker green.. I don’t care for that mint green vibe… ahhhh! However, that said, I love the eye look you have on with it in this video! Really one of the prettiest eye looks you’ve ever created! I love that lid shimmer shade!! GORGE!!

I am trying to get the Pulse eyeshadow quad soon. I see it labeled 3 in some places but I also saw it as 6 so not sure exactly which it is. Let me know if that's the one you are looking for. I'm planning to order next week or so.

Love the Poetry 04. The actual green reminds me of a professional MU brand (from Screenface). I may want a second palette too, I like Profusion 02, but I have no idea what I'd use the yellow for. I want the Fuxia (bright pink) lip too. So Poupre is not purple in Italian (that's a very literal French trans.) Pourpre was originally a crimson or deep red. My Bottega Veneta bag from a few years ago is officially Pourpre and is most definitely a rich red.
Thank you so much for sharing! I had no idea it did not mean purple in Italian. I should have looked that up. I'm not sure about the yellow either which is why it went to my third choice but I think I'm ready to try it and play around.
The Italian word is Porpora. It was a very expensive pigment used even before Romans and associated with royals and clergy.
@@clidrevandijk That's right, colour(s) forbidden to most people (even if they could afford them) in British English, we still have Cardinal red and Royal purple for paint names as a nod to those times. There are books on the history of colour and pigments that I like, one called the 'The Anatomy of Colour' by Patrick Baty and the other, 'The Secret Lives of Colour' by Kasia St Clair (love the stories about poisoned greens (Paris Green and Scheele's Green). I totally recommend both! Thank science for giving us such beautiful colours - without poisoning ourselves these days. Daniel Briez (Blog) also alluded to the difference between Violet and Pourpre (in French).
@@LexiJong Just wanted to add, what I really appreciate about the Prada colours and finishes, is that the range reflects the aesthetics of the House so well: Arty and non-conformist, minimal and bold, like we would expect from Prada. There is no point in creating a beauty brand unless offering something distinctive, this was good, and it feels like luxury. OK, I'll shut-up now 😀
I completely agree@@drnono3386 ! They really complemented their brand instead of creating an obvious money-grab imo. The correlation to their fabrics is a nice touch.

Except the Sonia G brushes I avoid online shopping. By the way, I bought the sky eye set one month ago and I am very happy with it. 😍 The brushes are beautiful and perform very well.

Thank you! Prada has announced that they will be coming to other US retailers in 2024 and they will do a slow roll-out at other retailers. They have not announced which retailers yet but some in January and the following months. I'm so glad you love the sky eye brushes! They are favorites of mine!
I hope they will come in Australia as well. I live in Sydney and many brands avoid us: Cle de peau, Valentino beauty, Victoria Beckham, Suqqu etc. YSL mini clutch eyeshadows didn’t arrive yet, Armani powder blushes just arrived last week and so on. 🙁

I love the way the foundation looks on your skin. The eye shadows are pretty , I need to shop smart, and I want them, but really can’t get. 😊😊😊. I also love profusion. Pretty and different colors to add. They are selling out fast on selfridges
At least these will be a permanent line and hopefully come to other retailers next year. We might be able to get department store discounts on these in the future.
I was attracted to the green palette first out of all of them and decided to go for it the other day but that one seems to be very popular as it’s sold out both on the Prada website and Selfridges, even the refills! I ordered the purple and Profusion palettes instead but definitely want that green one when it’s back in stock! Thanks for the review Lexi!

Great video! I'm loving these products and the foundation is lovely. I feel like it runs very light but I'm buying darker shades to make it all work. Do you think they'll sell the eyeshadow palette empty at some point? That's the only weak link I can see so far. The eyeshadow refill really is vulnerable on its own in my opinion.❤
I don't know if they will sell the palette separately. I think if they do, it will be in 2024. I hope they do!

Hi Lexi great review 🙌🙌🙌 so thank you for addressing foundation shades. I think i am kind of got a clue what shade would work on me. I wear Chanel ultra le teint in B20 in winter, so i think LN 25 would be close🤔 now when it comes to eyeshadows i love that no fall out and it blends nicely. I believe that they can be worn light pigmented way as well? I am thinking of getting No 1 and i was thinking get the green one, but not sure yet. I thought that peach color was more pink. Maybe i need to see No 6 or No 3 havent decided yet. So i got 2 lipsticks the soft matte blush is super pretty. The hyper matte i got in Lava i thought its going to be little bit more warmer but its not.i might need to try Rubino ( well Prada customer service advised as being warmest of all reds) i do think to get hyper matte in nude color, but i need warm. Yours definitely its too cool for me. Which one you think would be more warm ? Maybe BO2 Quartz?
i was thinking that Prada eyeshadows will replace Surratt ones, , but i do love Surratt bronzer and blush, so i might still get at least a few🤔 Have a blessed day🙏❤️

Hi Lexi! Thank you so much for featuring these Prada items! (Your thumbnail suggested a somewhat negative review but, of course, Prada got it right.) I should have purchased the quad and lipstick when they were available but I was waiting for your review. Both eye looks are gorgeous on you - but it’s the “green quad” that has the edge - and the one I really-really! want. The foundation looks very nice and I might consider getting it eventually - I have to use up the foundations I have. Do you plan on getting the lighter shade in the fall? If so, I will wait to find out if it’s a better match for you. The matte lipstick in Argile (“clay” in English) is sublime on you and that shade is right up my alley but it’s “unavailable” on Selfridges. I am presuming everything will get restocked, especially as the holiday season approaches. Please post an alert on IG if the “green quad” and the Argile lipstick shade get restocked at Selfridges as Prada does not ship outside the US. (PS: I need to choose between CdP’s Sand Dune and YSL’s Stora Dolls; can you please make a recommendation?)
Oh I totally didn't mean to suggest a negative review with the thumbnail - sorry about that! I will definitely keep an eye on restocks. I think the cdp and ysl are both great color-wise but you need to decide if you want subtle shimmer (cdp) or sparkly glitter (ysl). I am hoping they are fixing the ysl glue issues right now as everything is unavailable here at the moment. I kind of think of cdp as everyday and ysl as neutral evening. I hope that helps a bit. I don't think you will be disappointed with either one.

My comment erased but did u see Prada is coming to Sephora it's on the App says coming soon with the refills as well . Seems like the price went up , I could be wrong . I wanted to come back to ur video to see if I wanted either of these when it released cause I didn't get one before. At first I wanted the purple but I think the green one won me over . I do like the same shade u love lol .
Yes! Monday I believe is the drop date. I am going to try to get up my other prada items that I have since purchased. I bought some more quads and lipsticks. I think the price is the same as it was on the US Prada site but it is definitely higher than the Selfridges prices we were seeing.
The foundation looks more light to medium coverage. I was waiting to see the coverage before buying. I am more a medium/full foundation fan. Have you tried Tom Ford traceless soft matte foundation? That is my new HG

@@LexiJong Your review demonstrated the coverage level very well and saved me money. Given you like the mix of natural and matte Cle De Peau, I think you will love the Tom Ford Traceless soft matte foundation as the finish is the same but better. I'm shade 0.5 Porcelain in TF. I am normally one to two shades darker than you in foundation. So perhaps shade 0.4 might be a good fit?

Hi! Thanks for the review! How do compare this to the Guerlain Parure Gold matte foundation? Is it similar?
I think they are both great formulas. The Guerlain is a little more matte on me than the Prada which is a touch more luminous. The Guerlain color range also runs a bit warmer.

I purchased both lipstick several shades and the 03 eyeshadow palette. In my opinion I don't think it's worth and it's nothing special. I think natasha denona palettes are better. Also lipstick nothing new. There are several other brands with better lipstick and cheaper. Besides.i found the shape of the bullet hard to use took some fumbling
I find the shape of the lipstick really odd😅😅 I don't think this is convenient to use so no need to try there's dozens of good lipstick formulas. And I don't find the general shape of the component attractive... It looks clunky? And gives me a strong drugstore feel with the plastic and silver
I agree that the shape is a bit odd. I think it looks better in person but from photos I was thinking drugstore originally too.
I'm sorry to hear you don't like it. I agree that there are better lipsticks out there and similar formulas but overall, I really like the brand and they way they have combined formulas.
I'm not usually one for pretty packaging as long as it's functional ....👀 This all looks very 90s drugstore to me, clunky and the design thoughtless. Like an intern came up with that during break.... Just 🥴

Thank you for your review, Lexi! I watched another review from a different creator, and she said the entire line has fragrance. I was looking at the ingredients of the eyeshadow on the Prada website, and I'm not seeing fragrance in the eyeshadow. Do you notice fragrance in the eyeshadow?

I have an issue that we don't need any more brands of either makeup or skincare. It may be just because of RUclips.
That is true - we don't need more but I feel like entries like this to the beauty community help keep current brands on top of their game. Some have been slipping imo.
