    why is it that householders do a thousand times more good for the world than monks?
    Holier jobs are farmers, building constructors, nurses and doctors, health science researchers, mothers, teachers, etc.
    Once in a while there are monks who are productive speakers and authors, but for some reason monkhood does not praise working by the sweat of ones brow for the betterment of society. It even encourages begging.
