My wish as a buddhist is it doesnt matter if youre male or female. Its your need to attain nibanna and your effort towards it. Even if the government of people do not accept you does not matter as it is also only peoples perception. As a buddhist we aim to remove incorrect perception. Blessings to this sanga. May she attain nibbana and help others also attain.
Basically, they are not reformers. More like they are "reclaiming the robes" for the women who want to become "bhikhunnis" or female monks. The Buddha himself allowed women to be ordained BUT the community of Thailand DOESN'T accept females to become monks.
I think Buddhism is so lovely. I like to sit in my rose blossom garden and listed to the locusts and honey bees. Sometimes my fluffy cat, Sir Isaac Newton, joins me.to meditate
Why? Because women are better in what they do. Buddhism is inclusive and promotes equality. So making ordination difficult for them makes no sense at all Love here and respect to all Buddhist nuns
Keep the peaceful dharmic culture and religion alive. Don't let it become like the invasive Islamist insergency in Southern Thailand that seeks to divide the country

Yes, Buddhism is wonderful. I have embraced Buddhism for 3 years now. I am happier and at peace

Nuns are NOT fully ordained. The correct term is Bikshuni.
