As soon as Keith's actual performance started I could not believe how much of his back story I could see. Carl was definitely regretting that second breakfast burrito. I could see him planning to buy the other guys pizza after the job. And I knew for certain that Carl was not a married man

I burst into tears when they gave Keith center stage for a bow, it’s like seeing a friend achieve their wildest dreams. The cast of Beetlejuice seems so welcoming and fun, I’m so happy that Keith got to join them!

I loved the hot sauce moment, it really did seem like it crossed his mind that Keith is the creator of that brand and hoped that he'd bring some, but wasn't actually expecting it. 🤭

As a mom who felt the exact same when my first child graduated high school this week, I totally cried when Rachel gave him a hug! The pride and joy of seeing someone you love achieve something they had always dreamed and fought for. That’s what being mom is all about 👏🏼 we love mom Rachel
That was probably one of most purest Try Guy videos I've ever seen. Seeing how genuinely happy the guys are for Keith, how excited Keith, and watching Keith trying not to cry at the end had me bawling 😭😭😭

This aged like wine since I remember in their third photoshop battle video, Eugene photoshopped Keith as the star of everything in Les Misérables since the goal of that challenge was make the guys’ dream come true. Now we have Keith and his Broadway debut.

When Keith saw the playbill insert, I started crying. By the end I was weeping. As a theatre kid and now adult, I know how much this dream come true means. I am so thrilled that this got to happen!

I think, Keith crying, and actively acknowledging how powerful the moment was, when it was over- was so perfect. it speaks so much to his character. He is a grateful guy, it's absolutely clear in his personality and the way he treated this experience. Thank you Keith, and Try family, for sharing this moment with those of us who don't have this opportunity, and probably never will.

Keith may have felt silly for being so excited compared to them, but they understood what he was going through, they had been there themselves after all. They all seemed really happy to make his dream come true and seemed to really enjoy seeing how happy he was. Also, it was very sweet seeing how excited Alex Brightman seemed to get over getting a box of the sauces.

Alex Brightman pulling Keith into the middle at the end was such a lovely thing to do. And Rachel bring so proud at the end. You could genuinely tell that he was joking about doing a small part all day but that even that small part meant the world to him. I’m so glad he won the audition process and I’m thrilled for him on his Broadway debut. What a fantastic wholesome video. The cast and crew couldn’t have been lovelier

The cast was so warm and encouraging, and in the small snippets we saw of their performances, they are insanely talented. It made me so happy to see Keith live out every theater kid’s dream.

That feeling of the final bow in front of an audience is exhilarating for me in a tiny community theater, so I cannot imagine the absolute energy and shock and thrill running through Keith to have that final bow on freaking Broadway with such an amazing star filled cast and his friends supporting him from the sidelines

Theatre people in general are some of the most accepting and welcoming you can ever meet.
Beetlejuice's success was also initially built on social media. There's a reason this production invited them.
Theatre people are some of the most welcoming, funny, empathetic people..plus Keith's whole attitude is very gracious, kind, and good spirited the whole time which I'm sure warmed them to him and made them want the best experience for him from the get go
Started bawling, I can't lie... The amount of joy on Keith's face is incredible. And his friendship with Rachel, how she responded, was so beautiful. I'm really so so happy Keith got to experience this. He 100% deserved it.

In the last episode, Zak seemed like he really would’ve liked to be picked, so it’s so sweet how genuinely excited for Keith he was.
That's what love does.
It comes with being an actor. It wasn’t mentioned in either video but Zack also went to college for acting. One of the tough/weird things about going to school for acting (which I’m currently doing) is knowing that anyone in your major is potential competition even once you graduate. Acting is an extremely competitive field that’s hard to make it in, we all go into this knowing that there’s a reason for the starving artist stereotype and that there’s more of a guarantee you won’t make it then you will. Everyone is obviously hopeful they will but no one expects to make it, so then seeing your best friend beat the odds and get a great opportunity you feel excited for them. It also doesn’t apply in this case but this industry is all about who you know, going to college for acting is largely just going to network. If one of your friends gets well known they can recommend you if you need to fill a role last minute or if a show is struggling to find a stage manager, so having friends succeed in turn kind of increases the chances you will too.
As a theatre kid from way back who also sorta shelved that "Broadway" dream we all have at one moment or another, this really hit me. There would have been no one better for this opportunity than Keith. Couldn't be happier for him! Excuse me while I pull myself together emotionally...
As a fellow theater kid, who's super passionate about the importance of community theater, see if there's a local theater or online classes or read a play with friends, go do karaoke-its never to late to return to your passion, even if it's on a smaller scale than you anticipated! I feel like there's something extra magical about going to a local play and seeing the cashier you know from the grocery store give an amazing performance. 😊

I got second-hand jitter anticipation watching Keith get nervous at the 30 min mark. And when they pulled him into center stage for the bows?!? Instant tears. What a phenomenal thing to get to experience, makes me REALLY miss my theatre days.
It's never too late to return! See if there's a local community theater or a high school theater program you can volunteer with! Theater needs all ages and backgrounds!

Y’all the amount of effort it must have taken to even produce this video is insane. The unions do not let anyone record a live performance, let alone post it publicly. Like this would’ve been a long talk with the producing company and unions so they can get a concession to even make this video. It’s honestly really impressive.

I was thinking this too! Broadway unions are crazy powerful and have a ton of rules (not a bad thing just a fact) kudos for the team for coordinating all this
the audition process was definitely just for show and an extra video hahaha they would've had to have long discussions way before this to have keith perform. nevermind they prob had to get performance insurance, print the pamphlet inserts, have the costumes made, pay the hair and makeup people extra, so much more stuff i'm missing probably
The also probably had to get the video itself approved before it was posted, meaning someone from the legal team for the show had to watch and approve what they did show, it's probably gone through several edits of what they could and could not show.

Live theater has has a tough time coming back from the pandemic, so the try guys showing the world what we do in such an honest and compassionate way really really helps. It’s genuinely frustrating to hear people nonchalantly mention the pandemic as if it’s in the past tense. Just know that if you say shit like that, you’re also saying the lives of people with disabilities or compromised immune systems don’t matter & you are engaging in eugenics based policies created by a government that cares more about rich people getting richer than engaging in basic policies to avoid the deaths of hundreds of thousands of people. Basically if this were Germany in WWII, we know how you would react (any that would be ignoring what’s going on around you and continuing your life bc you feel like it.)

There is so much that made my chest fill up with joy watching this video. Seeing Keith radiate happiness and be so honored and excited to be part of a broadway musical made me tear up! He was also HILARIOUS, and is so perfect at knowing how to have fun and joke around with the different cast and crew members in the video in both a funny and respectful way for just hours before showtime, incredibly Conan-esque. And the cast and crew themselves, from the main producers/directors to the lead performer to the stylists, all seemed so kind, welcoming, and frankly hilarious and great personalities themselves. I'm just so happy to see this video and fortunate to have been part of the Try Guys community to feel all this on their behalf. My heart is so full

I've enjoyed a lot of Try Guys content over the past decade, but this is by FAR my favourite. Seeing Keith so genuinely happy, and having such a positive experience was so moving. You don't always realise how connected you are to the people you watch, but I was honestly just so proud and happy for Keith!

As a theater kid myself, it was incredibly rewarding to watch Keith go on Broadway. The entire time that he was going "I know this isn't that important a role, thank you guys for making it feel important, but it's important to me" I was going "YES EXACTLY THAT'S EXACTLY HOW THAT FEELS". I'm so glad that Keith got to perform on Broadway with such a great cast.

As someone with social anxiety and really weak speaking skills, I’m always in awe of how easily Keith can chat with people and make them laugh and feel so at-ease. Like, he’s known these people for maybe a few days but he’s already charmed the pants off of them.
