I have this and I feel it's a little too complicated and not what I need sometimes. I use Zplane Decoda which is only $30.00 to get the midi data from a sample. In Decoda you can use the pencil tool to paint in the notes that are digitally displayed. Ripx exports midi but it has too many ghost notes. I guess you can clean them up but it's very time-consuming.

I need this to be the Edit Page, but you guys need to create Track Page. The Track Page consist of the Layers Tab. And in the Track page it's just blocks that can be slid around to create a song with the Edot Page data. The Track Page has Volume control and ability to use plugin on tracks to EQ sound.

I love the RipX software and waiting for a better Cyber Week type of upgrade sale lower than $74 USD from RipX Daw to RipX Daw Pro sale. I love taking old mixes that were mastered on DAT or even two-track cossets and can remix, add, or delete instruments or vocal parts. I tried comparing RipX to a few other AI rip software and although none is perfect, RipX is by far the best. Please keep up the good work. Peace & blessings.✌🙏

Great audio quality but it has a horrible GUI. A much cleaner interface would make it more user-friendly and would increase interest in this software.

Anyway, this software is SO much fun, has SO much potential, and NO buyer’s remorse at all…. but I can see a few improvements maybe…
!. Ability to Mute individual notes rather than only an entire layer.
2. If I’ve found a loop I like, the ability to right click “Lock Loop” or something at the top loop bar would be awesome. So I can safely move that around, while still messing with other regions without screwing up that golden loop.
3. Sometimes a part (solo) in loop will play sounds without the visual flair. Meaning, the sound is definitely being played on that solo loop but I can’t visually see it to edit.
(As stated, critique not criticism, because this software is mind blowing and I certainly can be an idiot on occasion.)

Note that it is possible to mute individual notes by selecting them and applying a Level effect.
Regarding locking a loop - is this so you can have multiple loops saved that you can go between?
Please could you send us an example of a sound being played without it being visible? Please note that if a layer is selected, other unselected layers become uneditable and are shown more transparent. Could this be the cause?

Some of the audio I import has a lot of "junk" attached, for example trying to clean up an old band recording. A simple right click to mute/unmute that particular blob real-time would be awesome. Just to determine if it's trash or should be kept and moved to another layer.
Locking a loop... I'm familiar with my current DAW (and zoom in visually when something sounds off) and tend to move parts around a lot for experimentation. For example, that intro sounds better as a verse, etc. What I mean by locking a loop is "that part sounds perfect, but I may try moving it around on the timeline a bit, please don't allow me to chance any of these layers, unless I unlock it." If that makes any sense.
Anyway, I'm definitely new to your software, but it is awesome! Perhaps I'm just having a learning curve as a stand alone DAW rather than a tool added to my current DAW. That said, I'm a fan and excited to see where it goes.
Is the "Unpitched editor" to remove artifacts (0:30) available in RipX DAW, or only in RipX DAW Pro?
The Unpitched editor is only available in the pro version. Sorry for the confusion.
