Minor rules correction that would have actually made the game a bit easier: page 8: Monster Strike->Attack it actually says in bold to not roll dice if there are no people in the monsters space.
Yay you won!! 🎉 I have always been on the fence about getting this game, but after watching the playthrough and seeing how each monster has its own puzzle to solve, this is definitely on my wish list.
Loved watching this! Thanks Jamie. I just got this game and version and played solo for the first 2 games, and I'm hanging to play it again in solo. Will play through with the fam soon too. They are going to love it.
I love this game. I play only monster games in October. This Halloween season I killed 263 monsters. I also added a teleport action that allows heroes to jump between the 2 versions of Horrified that I have. I use the sites that are close in type, like camp and campground, etc. Thanks for the entertaining play through!
23:54 Actually, you were not supposed to take the Soul Sign and move towards the Mummy at that point. In the instructions on pg 14, it states "The first time a Mummy Event is resolved, the current player takes the Soul sign and that player's Hero moves towards the Mummy." The key word there is Event. You only do this when the middle (Event) phase of the card involves the Mummy, not the bottom (Strike) phase of the card. For that particular card, the Event phase involved the Invisible Man, and the Strike phase involved the Mummy, so all you would do is attack with the Mummy.

Ahhh thanks that would have for sure made a difference!

Awesome!! I really like how each monster works differently, it always keeps things interesting!

Thanks for the clarification!
Fab video, thank you. The only thing is I'd love solid plastic monsters so I can paint em up, they're too bendy.
This intro is incredible! Haha 👏👏
Thanks!
29:40 lol the victims part, were you playing Final Girl recently xD?
