- Today we're hitting the salvage auction in search of a dream 'supercar' of mine on the cheap! A Mclaren with a $10,000 spoiler, a Porsche 911 GT3 RS with a blown out strut tower and a BMW M8 that I know less than 0 about!

Gt3 RS is my dream car. Of course I could never afford it as a retired veteran, but I enjoy watching it so that makes me happy enough.
Definitely go m8, hopefully the price is right because that would make a great rebuild

What are the odds of getting the McLaren and the cab for the price of the GT3 RS? I think you have all the necessary parts to get the 997 running and sell. The McLaren could be its own build series.

Its not a rebuild. But you should do a superlite slc build vlog. You can go all unique with it however you want and turn it into like a channel car.
I want to see you fox a Chevy “SS” . (Basically, a Holden Commodore, but I’m sure you already know that). I’m sure you also that they are getting pretty rare…. Please rebuild and modify one!

So that 997 is actually a 997.1 with a triptronic and 7.2 rear end conversion. Beware! Tiptronic much less desirable. I think it's also Atlas Grey, not Meteor.

Part out that 911 cab. Fix the GT3 RS.
BMW no longer sells wiring repair kits and connectors. You have to buy an entire harness and it's a 6 month plus wait for one. My wife's new BMW was totaled because of this. One damaged connector which resulted in the entire harness having to be replaced which drove the estimate over the threshold to total it. If that M8 was sent to a BMW certified repair shop and it had 1 broken connector, per BMW the harness would have needed to be replaced which with the availability issues it probably drove them to total it.
Aftermarket options for connectors. Try aeromotive. Don't have to total a car over it
@@jeffreyshepherd8488 not if it’s in a BMW certified repair shop. They are required to follow BMW recommend repair procedures or they’ll loose their certification.

the mcclaren would be better for your channel to get more viewers what would be really cool and different would be the BMW and then a Porsche is just to satisfy you really lol .

Porsche is the pinnicle of sport car, the steering is amazing the power is just right and they look magnificent.
The leg room sucks and the back seats are symbolic but other than that its THE sports car.
Muscle cars are pretty cool too but their niche is and will be dominated by electric cars, which are just better in all aspects for going fast in a straight line cheap.
And they dont look nearly as sexy (maybe the coke body dodge would give me a half chub)😂

Porsche is honestly less reliable than Plymouth. Why would you want a car that is guaranteed to fail in more ways than one before you even hit 10k miles. Useless waste of money. Find one with a ruined drivetrain and make a Demon Crate porsche.. at least you know it will last 150,000k with light maintenance
