The song the pianist is playing is an instrumental piano cover version of "La Foule" originally sang and popularized by French singer/actress Edith Piaf.
To make it clear: This is a Peruvian Waltz composed by the Argentinian musicians Angel Cabral and Enrique Dizeo in 1936. It was recorded first by the Argentinian Singer Hugo del Carril and performed by Edith Piaf in 1953 in Buenos Aires in the Opera Theater. Later, in France, she recorded it with the name of La Foule, but the original titel was Que Nadie sepa mi Sufrir.
For those saying something about his posture...he appears to be VERY TALL! He was squished into that little space! Can you please just appreciate this impromptu performance? By the way, to the one who shot this video...WOW! It felt like I was standing right there! Now THAT is HD! HERE'S DELIGHT!
Fabio Matu Huh why judging his posture, that is because he was very tall and has habit of hunched when walking and sitting, which could be developed when he was already a tall kid and no one like you so "kind" telling him to sit straight up! Just appreciate his talent will ya?
This guy doesn't play it he lives it and thats why it is touching my soul so much. Can't stop listening. Thank you so much Carl for this listening watching and especially feeling experience! Makes me happy!
What I like about this fellow is his body language. He isn't just playing the music, he feels it. He is completely absorbed in it and that is why he plays it so well. That is what makes him a great musician. BRAVO!!!
This is one of my favorite songs. My grandmother used to play this in her record player and would sing along when she was in the kitchen cooking a feast or baking.
In my house we have three keyboards: a Kawai, a Yamaha and a Novation. I taught my children the basics with the Yamaha, and 20 years later they are teaching me and in turn the eldest son composes music with the Novation connected to the computer
+The Grapevine it was just a tip you idiot he plays very good. I have forgotten to write it in my comment... for example he is playing piano at home for 2 hours and sits like that this won't be good for his back and his spinal cord. I don't want to say that he have to sit correctly because it's a strict norm. Just because it's not healthy specially when you play long time.
"La Foule " was sung by Edith Piaf, but the original song (Que Nadie Sepa mi Sufrir) was composed by the Argentine Angel Cabral in 1936. Many years later Piaf heard the song and recorded a French version of it in 1957. Thanks to Piaf, the original song became a hit again and was renamed "Amor de mis Amores".
I from Argentina and wen I started to listen the son I was shocked! I didn`t know about Edith Piaf singing a version of it. I have to come to the comments to see if I was right thinking it was Amor de mis Amores! Thank youu

There are 3 kinds of people in this comment section: Those who enjoy his performance, those who argue about the little girl, and those who argue about which song is he is actually playing...whether if it's from Edith Piaf or Angel Cabral, why spend so much time debating about it?
"Que nadie sepa mi sufrir" piece originally composed by argentine composer Angel Cabral (an early pioneer in genres such as waltz and tango) in 1936 with lyrics by Enrique Dizeo. Its French version, is known like "La Foule", was a great success in the voice of Édith Piaf in 1957, but in this version the song only takes the original music, due to the used lyrics is written by Michel Rivgauche. Thanks and we hope you complete the loose information 'bout this music piece of argentine folklor.
Maybe the girl has a kind of handicap (I said maybe), but she appreciates the show. PLease focus on the piano and let her alone, she doesn't care about all of you
+Razing LP Welcome too 21st century :D where every kid pretty much is retarded cause of underdeveloped school system :D i mean the only thing that does not change is schools :D

Explore France its an amazing song my friend
This guy has music throughout his body. Just watch his feet and body language. Thank you. A true lover of music. Wish i could play like that.
you can! :)
I only wish i can stand there and see , listen not through the phone 😁😁
True story
just matter of training, no matter what age ;)
You can… you just have to put in the time, money, and practice.
I think this is an awesome way to find unseen talents around the world, leave an instrument in crowded places, wait for someone to attend.
I'm sure this guy has an in-depth background with pianos.
and no one realized.

so because hes playing a piano in public nobody knows? lol
I come back to this every now and then, the sheer brilliance and interpretation makes me smile in these not so good times.
Same
Same, this time I’m impressed with the views ❤
Yup. Me also . 8 years now.
Lo mismo Yo, que Nadie Sepa My Sufrir (Amor de Mis Amores)
Me too, absolute brilliant in this time. iPad in schools doesn't
produce this in students..
I can’t understand why nearly 4000 people disliked this guy skill.
he’s class!!
Spectacular! You can tell that he plays the Piano with 100 % passion.
He is slightly being annoyed by the ever lasting gob stopper though. lol
For those saying something about his posture...he appears to be VERY TALL! He was squished into that little space! Can you please just appreciate this impromptu performance?
By the way, to the one who shot this video...WOW! It felt like I was standing right there! Now THAT is HD! HERE'S DELIGHT!
Torch Silke anyone who says something about his posture is dumb as sh!t
Torch Silke No, he could just sit upright. We arent't even hating, his posture is just peculiar.
Fabio Matu Huh why judging his posture, that is because he was very tall and has habit of hunched when walking and sitting, which could be developed when he was already a tall kid and no one like you so "kind" telling him to sit straight up! Just appreciate his talent will ya?
He probably will get a very sore back from sitting like that though.
Aletheia Tritis It's not hating but a word of advice. He could've sat upright but since he was so into it he couldn't.
This guy doesn't play it he lives it and thats why it is touching my soul so much. Can't stop listening. Thank you so much Carl for this listening watching and especially feeling experience! Makes me happy!

Exactly 💯. He BECOMES the music 🎶 himself
What A Performance. I am so thankful that someone captured this and I was able to enjoy it. Bravo!

Still 2023 and watching it anyone knows who is he ? Best one who played it
Carl the pianist
Not only is that guy absolutely brilliant and talented but damn that video quality is on point!
i was thinking that too
He puts his soul into that performance
He played like KING. Marvelous performance from this young fella.
Imagine how many kids get home and ask for a piano.
I am not a kid but i am one of 'em who really want a piano in my house to learn how to play piano.
"Shit honey .. we can't afford it and we do not even have the space for it !"
Went trhough that a long time ago ahah
I pray for that. We need more musicians like him that simply gets lost in the music.
The sad thing is, you can't give a piano away anymore. Schools don't want them. Churches don't want them. All keyboards if anything. Kills me.
In my house we have three keyboards: a Kawai, a Yamaha and a Novation. I taught my children the basics with the Yamaha, and 20 years later they are teaching me and in turn the eldest son composes music with the Novation connected to the computer
he was enjoying himself and the music is beautiful, who care the other things...

Your impromptu performance is soul touching and your musical virtuosity is manifested in your music and body language. Keep it up my man.
He plays extremely well, thank you for posting.
It is beautiful how the entire body is in sync with his movements and music. His fingers are not the only piece of the body thats in use.
