    Purak (inhale) Antha Kumbhak (breath hold) Rechak (exhale) Bahay Kumbhak (hold after exhale)..... this technique already told by our YOG before today's science but in a systematic way & in Ratio .,..
    1. 1:1:1 (for beginners)
    2. 1:1:1:1 (Inhale : hold : exhale : hold)
    3. 1:2:1:2 (Inhale: hold : exhale : hold)
    Then after a log practice the main ratio comes
    4. 1:4:2

    Listened yourgoodself lecture on deep breathing,found very informative.Being a muslim,keeping in view deep breathing.I applied on holy verses by adopting recitation ya Allahoo, Ya Heyoo Ya Qayoomoo,Ya salamoo,Ya Shafi.On this recitation basis,one can find particular level of deep breathing.Recited it one thousand in numbers.my sugar level went down from172 to 125 afer one hour.even I could not get said result after one hour walk.     Our Vedic learning is really gem they give so much emphasis on pranayama. If someone want to take the benefits to another level. Do this take breath while chanting OM (silently or on your mind) and then hold breath while chanting gayatri mantra and then release breath chanting OM again. Start with few rounds and then increase it for 21 rounds.

      Nope, none of that is "necessary". "The highest yoga" is an ego construct, and only applies to Creation. We are here to become aware of this and then choose a universal position for ourselves, whether that be in cause and effect//karmic creation, or another universe. This takes a multitude of lifetimes. The paths, religions and language will ever-evolve, as they always have. That which is unchanging is the ISness of Life. We are here to recognize this True Reality and, again I repeat, choose a universal position based on our experiences. It's up to you. And it's also a beneficial idea to recognize that there are many "gods" and not all are benevolent.
