I remember when the trailer came out and i was blown away by the graphics, so much that i came home and told my brother "man, this looks just like real life" lol. Spent great times with it, especially on the RTWM, and banging my head to Jacob Cass theme. My brother didn't liked as much, mainly because the wrestlers would bump when running towards each other, so we would always play SvR2011 together, but i loved it, and bought again this week, for $8. Already downloaded all DLC, and i plan on playing it all weekend. Gonna go back to 2011 for a couple of days
Came back just to say for anyone on the fence about this, I've played universe mode for a week now in 3 different games and Pav is right; 12 has the best version, PERIOD. I played 14 and it's alright. But 12 is the closest thing it gets to constant random occurrences in other games. Undertaker won my WWE championship at RR, WON the rumble later that night and is gonna challenge Mark Henry, who hasn't lost in 3 months since I added him into a WHC match as an extra man. Henry has been destroying everyone after matches and before on BOTH shows and it has been entertaining as SHIT lol
Anyone who grew up with the SVR series will consider this game absolute trash. Too many glitches and they sacrificed fun gameplay for stupid graphics. I enjoy the Gameboy Advance games over this one and the 2K games.
As someone who grew up in 2011 and loved the wrestling games, I'll always love this game. Was it as good as some of the svr games? No. But was it as bad as some people remember it? Not at all. It doesnt get as much praise as it should for some of the features it expanded on and some features that they still use today.
I remember vividly one glitch I had in this game where I was playing as Sheamus in the RTW story and hit Triple H with the High Cross with some stairs in the ring balanced upright. I somehow got the exact right angle bring him down right onto the stairs and he just folded over them and didn't move, slowly slivering off to the floor. Commentary didn't say anything and I just thought for a brief moment "Oh god, I just killed Hunter in a video game..."

My created superstar then had a WWE title match against John Cena at SummerSlam. Triple H returned and ended up helping me retain my title, best heel turn I ever witnessed.😭

I'm the same way, when it first came out I didn't like it especially when the servers were down most of the time. But several years later I picked this game up at a pawn shop to gave it a second chance and upon playing it again I really enjoyed it.
This video I was waiting for the most. This is one of my favorite wrestling games because of how much fun I had in RTW and Universe mode. They took a chance on making it like a movie and they hit a Home Run on it I loved it then and I love it now.
When I was small this was the only wwe game I owned and I loved it too death, I loved universe mode and literally played every single match in the whole year, and the road to Wrestlemania man I played through it so often, a very not well known thing is when playing as John Cena if you go off the beaten path and look around a little you can actually find shamus lurking behind you which I found so cool, I really should replay that game
I came into this video not knowing a thing about WWE 12, but you really sold me on the Universe mode. I'm going to keep an eye out for it! Great video!
That thing you said about current Universe modes is so accurate. I have to set everything up for it to make sense. And trying to organize rosters is time consuming. They really need to make GM mode so that setting stuff up is actually beneficial to players. Never had 12 but I wish I did now
WWE 12 got me back into wresting games after years of taking a break. I was excited for the next step past SVR. The game was really fun at the time and i actually platinumed it on PS4.
Making The Rock a pre-order exclusive in this game was insane when he was in the upcoming main event of Wrestlemania. If they needed to make a big wrestler the pre-order to incentivise people to buy, then it should have been Brock Lesner since he had yet to return.
This was the first wwe game I owned before my step brother had the others but when I got an Xbox 360 for Christmas and this game I played through everything and fell in love it was a spectacular game with amazing stories and I had such a blast

I gotta say the random camera angles and zoomed out and in camera is great. It also had the best universe mode iteration of all time. It was random but fun, the rivalries ruined it after that
Physical for the PS systems (starting with SVR 2006), I own almost every game. WWE 12 was one I played RELIGIOUSLY when it first dropped. Now, I prefer the older games more than the newest ones.
This game is 100% the Cod Ghosts of Wrestling games, the first game after the golden era. Everyone hated it at first but when you look back it was pretty decent compared to whats out nowadays
This game is so nostalgic. My parents always bought me the new call of duties and GTAs growing up even tho I always wanted wrestling games. I’m not taking that for granted btw but then on 2011 Christmas I got WWE 12 for the Xbox 360 and I played the living hell out of that game. It’s def better than the 2k series as I was very disappointed about 2k not having the road to wrestle mania.
I love this game so much and rtwm on this game was soooo good and I remember the first time I played it had me jaw dropped moments multiple times and kinda wished that WWE would just hire the writters from THQ since they always make great storylines on video games

Dude can you imagine WWE2K19 with WWE 12's Universe Mode. That would've proved that WWE2K19 is the greatest WWE2K of all time. If only man.....if only
After all my years playing the wwe games starting at SVR 2011, I never played universe mode. But BOY! I should’ve played it before now because it’s hella fun
I'm the same way, when it first came out I didn't like it especially when the servers were down most of the time. But several years later I picked this game up at a pawn shop to gave it a second chance and upon playing it again I really enjoyed it.
Didn't care for the game til I seen Universe mode and in my second match X-Pac turned on Cena and jumped him with Nash.
Loved wwe12,the road to WM mode was so
good,highly underrated
This video I was waiting for the most. This is one of my favorite wrestling games because of how much fun I had in RTW and Universe mode. They took a chance on making it like a movie and they hit a Home Run on it I loved it then and I love it now.
When I was small this was the only wwe game I owned and I loved it too death, I loved universe mode and literally played every single match in the whole year, and the road to Wrestlemania man I played through it so often, a very not well known thing is when playing as John Cena if you go off the beaten path and look around a little you can actually find shamus lurking behind you which I found so cool, I really should replay that game
When the dude on the cover of the game isn't in the thumbnail
I came into this video not knowing a thing about WWE 12, but you really sold me on the Universe mode. I'm going to keep an eye out for it!
Great video!
I know I already got this on Wii, and even then, this game was just totally insane. It's almost 10 years old!
The satisfaction when you unlocked everyone and looked at the complete roster for the first time.
I never played this game but I’ve watched every single cutscene for road to wrestlemania twice... THERES 2 HOURS AND 45 MINUTES
The Greatest WWE Game Hands Down,
And Definitely My Favorite WWE Game!
The Last WWE Game That Had Road To Wrestlemania Mode, I Will Always Love It.
This was the first wwe game I owned before my step brother had the others but when I got an Xbox 360 for Christmas and this game I played through everything and fell in love it was a spectacular game with amazing stories and I had such a blast
I remember playing universe mode and undertaker was in a match and during the match cm punk was in the crowd eating popcorn.
Remember kids.
THQ for gameplay
2K for graphics
The most underrated game ever. Those were the days 😢❤️, memories
You make amazing content man, the way you felt as a kid is exactly how I did. I was a Super Cena fan! I hated edge, all of it!
But now a days there is so many wrestling channel, but yours is original and that’s why we love it. Keep doing your thing! It’s great!
At 2:30 I was dying of laughter
6 year old me got WWE 12 from my stepbrother for christmas. i had never watched wwe. Road To Wrestlemania made me fall in love with pro wrestling
Always loved wwe 12. I bought the special edition with the rock on the cover
This was the first wrestling game I bought as it was just as I was getting into Wrestling.
I’ve bought every game since
I remember getting this for Christmas
This game is 100% the Cod Ghosts of Wrestling games, the first game after the golden era. Everyone hated it at first but when you look back it was pretty decent compared to whats out nowadays
This game is so nostalgic. My parents always bought me the new call of duties and GTAs growing up even tho I always wanted wrestling games. I’m not taking that for granted btw but then on 2011 Christmas I got WWE 12 for the Xbox 360 and I played the living hell out of that game. It’s def better than the 2k series as I was very disappointed about 2k not having the road to wrestle mania.
I’ve been watching ur videos for about 2 weeks now and I’ve loved all your videos and laughed so hard lmao keep up the work
Wwe 13 is absolute 🔥
This game predicted the future by: Having Cody Rhodes leave WWE and create/join and lead a rival brand.
Thank you dad for this video
Chan Dau anything for you my son❤️
WrestlinGifs is this person actually your son.
My first wwe game, so much fun, so many fun memories of playing Universe all night.
I love this game so much and rtwm on this game was soooo good and I remember the first time I played it had me jaw dropped moments multiple times and kinda wished that WWE would just hire the writters from THQ since they always make great storylines on video games
I remember playing this whole thing I was in the 3rd grade when this game came out and I remember playing all of it 😭
Dude I love this game, I remember playing it in 2012, would’ve been one of the best wwe games if these huge superstars weren’t dlc
It underrated fr 🔥🔥🔥🔥
This game is underrated, people who hate on this game have obviously never played it
I forgot how good Universe mode and Road To Wrestlemania was in this game.
Rtwm meh
2:04 “booker T kinda of “ 😂😂😂😂😂😭😭😭💀💀💀
I’m dead about to play this again
Road to wrestle mania was one of the earliest memories I had on Xbox 360. So good.
