How to Fix a NOISY Garage

If your garage is SUPER NOISY... Its an easy fix! All you need to do is spray white lithium grease or silicon lubricant on the joints and pulley! Once your done, clean out your garage track with a rag and you'll be ready to go!

great tip! personally we have a satin paint finish in the garage just for those types of situations although i will admit, i much prefer a flatter paint finish

I know this is more expensive but I went from a chain to a belt system, and it’s super quiet now. Plus, get the better quality rollers, those make a difference too. New opener, belt and rollers installed for $600, and its WiFi enabled 🙌

@@PrincessCutLawnCare Yeah, the opener was super old and loud. My old house had the WiFi enabled system, so we couldn’t live w/o it again. I got a Genie 🧞‍♂️ opener and can pass along the guy I used if you’re interested.

no, you dont want to put any grease in the track or the rollers. Only clean it out with the sock. you want it to be dry and clean
