The ninja h2 is a better beginner bike.
97 in 1st gear. Don't have to learn how to shift gears
Adam Cameron lmao
Ninja h2r even better.u might need tht extra 100hp
😂
Adam Cameron my zx10r with a 6 psi turbo does 105 in first lol
Adam Cameron Yea, but they'll be stalling the shit out of it non-stop.
The Hayabusa is a great beginner bike. You learn, VERY QUICKLY, how to use your throttle!
The margin of error is incredibly small.
If you survive the first two years, you're an experienced rider
Lexx1976 really? Okay I’m getting one thanks 😁😁

ROFL 🤣😂
That’s not the best beginner bike though, it doesn’t have a turbo. We all know turbo Hayabusa’s are the best starter bike.
also, I would want my Daughter to have NOS also just in case she needs a bit of a boost doing her test.
haha great point

Wow a used Busa without a stretched swingarm.
mrvwbug44 RIGHT?!
mrvwbug44 fucking right
Why do they stretch it? What's the point? I'm completely new to the motorcycles.
they stretch it so that when they pin the throttle the front wheel doesn't come up on its own
Vraxius Bills
Its practical use is for drag race motorcycles to prevent wheelies.
Most people don't have tuned up drag racing Hayabusas and they put stretched swingarms cause they think it looks cool.
This is a dumb idea because it ruins handling which doesn't matter in a drag race, but matters everywhere else.

😆 you could start on a .308 or 12Ga bird shot...doesnt have to be a .22 like me 😉. Great analogy man.
An M2 .50cal is gonna teach the children teamwork since it's crew served and being on a tripod will be easy to shoot for them. I would definitely recommend.
I was around four when my grandfather helped hold his .32 Winchester Special up to my shoulder so I could shoot it. My mom was pissed.
A dual-shoulder mounted 50 Cal.
Get him a Hellcat. Not the the Dodge, the M18 Hellcat.
Hayabusa was my first bike. I'm also mature enough to respect the bike.
Bought one of these my second year of riding. No problems whatsoever. But ended up selling it the following year, because the riding position was too aggressive for long trips. Also, the engine was total overkill for the roads where I live. Hardly ever got to ride the piss out of it, which was incredibly frustrating. It's like having sex with a beautiful woman and not being able to finish.

😆 the joy of a tiny bike..*pins the throttle* go baby, go! 😆
That's absolutely true. 10x more fun riding a slow bike fast than a fast bike slow.
Hm, I'm 180 cm (5 feet 11 inches). I actually installed bar risers on mine too, but it just wasn't enough. It's a shame, it was a brilliant bike, all in all.
PliantSanity 600 miles in one day on a Busa? Eeeeeehhh....
All busas are fuel injected. The first clue is when you turn the key on you hear the fuel pump power up fuel pressure.
Damn! I shoulda watched this BEFORE I bought my Ninja 400! I coulda had me thee BEST beginner bike in the world, a Turbo Busa!!!

I always felt the busa was a great beginner bike for various reasons. Its not snappy like 6 or 1000. You get acquainted with the bike easier due to its weight. Plus more but after you master the busa you can ride the rest. A 1000 bike can kill you faster. A busa is like a super cruiser...
Hayabusa was my 3rd bike. And I would say it was much more beginner friendly than my Magna or GSXR1100. I mainly used it for commuting 8 miles to work. And I learnt to be a much better rider on my Hayabusa. So beginner friendly. Yes. Crazy. Also yes. Far from being the most fun bike Ive had tho. But I would love to have one in my garage for special occasions and touring day trips.
So is it a good beginner bike?
@@crimsonhawk4912 it is not, unless you are really big&heavy. Problem with Hayabusa is that the error margin it's really tiny and the paycheck it's big.
Most common issues regards original OEM brake system (for 1° gen) which ought to be updated indeed.
A sudden break would lead to a locked front wheel and dropping the bike down. Another issue is that you may want to drive with soft suspensions but upon braking you would transfer too much weight onward lighting the rear (3/4 of the motorcycle) and thereby having the motorcycle thrashing left or right leading to a drop. Another thing is that sudden accelerations will lead to the motorcycle nearly escaping out of your hands if you are not prepared. Power it's everywhere (as video states) from 3000 to 11.000 rpms.
Last but not least, it doesn't feel that easy to turn around at first: the bike doesn't lean easily nor will make you think it will. You will feel like trying to turn and going straight. You are enforced to use your body and/or countersteer.
Once you get over those issues (radial brake pump, use rear brake aswell for balancing weight transfers, harden the front suspensions, use your body in the turns and so on) it becames really a funny and easy bike, but there is a paycheck for this too: every other motorcycle will feel like a bike (bycicle) and you will feel like "meh" on riding any other supersport. Riding a Ducati S4rS will feel like "meh", riding a GSXR1000 will feel like "meh" and so on, cause you will be acclimate to driving with such power at any range that you will be handling any other bike easily.
Source: driving one among the mountains
Having switched from a bored kz1000 to a 86 gsxr1100 (later modified) I can vouch for the gsxr1100 being a beast to handle. Even stretched the bike needed bars. Being really a roadrace bike it was light as hell.
8 miles?
Oh yeah. And a Ferrari Enzo is definitely the best starter car for a 16 year old.
It's the weight distribution characteristic of the Hyabusa and of that weight class of bike that make it more beginner suitable. A 1000cc or 600cc super sport or super naked have more bottom end power and much less weight and narrower tyres, making a misjudgement more likely. They are much flickier lending to overconfidence and less stable in bad weather. You can't just throw a Hyabusa about as with any heavy sports tourer
@@bencarter1666
A 1000 or 600 SS doesn't have more bottom end power than a Busa, a B-King yeah, because that's a Busa engine tuned for lower end power
But that 1300/1350cc makes a whopping difference down below
You mean a Koenigsegg Agera RS
@@bencarter1666 Yah, just put them on a naked bike, or better yet, a cruiser (not a chopper). Upright seating position, heavier bike, mellow characteristics. Or I guess put them on a supersports bike that caused even the MANUFACTURER to go "ok, this is too much".
The 07 hayabusa isn't carborated...... that's a idle adjuster.
you mean carbureted? and enricher?
Isn’t the 99 -07 fuel injected?
@@javadose317 yes, all models are fuel injected. Its a fast idle lever on left bar. Doesn't change fueling. That's what the cold map does.
Yeah I was extremely confused lol
wrong answer. all are fuel injected.
U could literally start on any bike , just respect the throttle. don’t matter if its a 300, 450,600,750,1200-1300 the speed limit is the same law for all bikes
That's a sad-looking "rebuilt" crasher.
Hayabusa was my first bike and the first bike I ever rode... Never fell while riding. I did drop it in the garage after riding though lol.
Late find on your comment but, this is similar to me and kitchen knives. I've never cut myself prepping anything but I've cut myself afterward while sharpening and/or cleaning 🤣
A busa can very well be a good beginner bike. Depends on the person though. It takes disciplined people. Most are immature with that kind of power at hand. Now a key factor is if someone can handle the weight of the bike would be a difference too. My first bike was a gsxr600 and it was sweet. You don't have to go top dog for a beginner but I'd definitely suggest something they'd have more room to grow into then quickly grow out of a 200 or 300 and become board and have to sell to move up.
Somebody really messed that poor busa up with that horrible color scheme...😫
I’ve been looking to buy one and 99% have been ruined
I agree its a very ugly color

Yeah. It looks awful.
Love the verses before each ride. I'm gonna start doing that too.
Totally correct Sean
My first bike was a gsxr 600

Ive been riding since Feb 2018 and got a ninja 250 as my first bike. Last week i traded it for a 98 CBR1100xx blackbird and i can totally relate to this.
Brandon Parks blackbird is a great bike..use to have one
i ve had 3, a red and blue and silver one also
Best part about it is the name "I ride a CBR1100XX SUPER BLACKBIRD!" compared to "I ride an r1..." isn't even a comparison lol
Brandon Parks how many kms do you get out of a full tank ?
RexyFan 270
I love that clickbait title with a twist. Lol
I owned a 01 Hayabusa in College, sold it eventually and had a number of other bikes. Always kind of wished I had kept it...long story short just picked up a totally stock 04 Limited two weeks back and it's just as great as I remember!
The worst bike in the world for a beginner. I had an friend buy a Busa and crashed it within 2 weeks. He’d watched Biker Boys one too many times. Too much bike for little experience.
A Busa or a Ninja 250, you have to respect the bike. You’ve got to know what have and know what you can and can’t do.
Man this dude trying to get some 1killed heavy ass motor cycle
The Busa is still an amazing road bike, might not be the most flickable thing at a track day, but handles more than good enough to be a very capable canyon carver, that is comfortable enough to ride all day. Also very big guy friendly
God bless u man 🙏💯. Love how u do that in beginning
My first street bike was a zx14 lol, I ended up turboing it was the first bike to run on e85 as far as I know I t ended up making 380hp with the stock engine! !!
A squid will be a squid. If you have no self control, can't accept that you're learning and not Valentino Rossi, then there isn't a motorcycle in the world that would be a good starter. Stay in a cage. I don't see the issue with the Hayabusa or ZX-14 as a starter bike. Even if you're a female, just so long as you can manage the weight of the bike. It all depends on where you're coming from and what your state of mind is when you get on the bike. The dozens of knobs that I see riding around on 250s with shorts, t-shirts and no gloves doing 45 in neighborhoods and pulling "dank woolies" in residential areas... man, you were asking for injury or death well before the bike became your problem. As far as I'm concerned, put them on a busa, the inevitable just happens faster and hopefully you're either out of the gene pool or at least out of my riding community.
BAFOMET yea that’s completely true I just got my zx10r a few days ago and I’m a level headed person and I can manage the weight pretty well and it’s been pretty easy I haven’t had any scary experiences
2012 busa was my first bike still have it 40k miles later still going strong
The best way to start riding is as soon as possible! By the time you get to ride on the road it won't much matter what bike.
So glad to see someone putting God first! ! Keep it up. The channel is great! !!
Right. I think he does it for the same reason he "loves" every bike he has on sale.
Think it over and you will soon find that none of the +3000 gods we made up exist in reality.
You got one life - live it😏
Its not carburated sean.its fuel injected the leaver you think is a choke is actually raises the idle on cold starts ...............i have a 07 and it made me wonder when i seen the little choke leaver lol
I have a 2000 vfr and that also has one like my busa daft isn't it
All bikes should have them
I personally cut my teeth on a Honda xr75, it was like riding a 60 mph bycicle, I went from that to a Harley Davidson 250 pro comp, and then went on to the big street bikes, I always recommend learning on dirt first simply because knowing how the bike is going to react when you have no traction and little control on dirt helps keep you alive better on the street where you have alot more traction and control
2012 Busa was my first bike. Love it. But I also respect it.
Respecting any bike is important, lol especially The Busa
Wouldn’t the Busa with the Brocks clutch mod, flash tune and stretched be even easier for beginners?
There was a gentlemans agreement but it restricted bikes to 186mph. The Busa was so fast in 99 on its release that it changed everything.that's why its a legend. THE ORIGINAL BAD BOY AND KING OF SPEED.
I’ve always been a man of extremes. I’m going to cop a hyabusa as my first bike. I would be responsible with the speed because my life depends on it
Learning how to ride would be even more important.
My first bike was a '79 KZ 1000 in 1987, I was 25. She had a Kerker header....sounded some sweet!😎
I started on a CBR1000RR SP. It depends how you approach things and your mind set in general. Some people are born with natural skills that don't need to be taught slowly. I have been held back in many aspects of my life because people think I should start slow.
Well i will say when you run into those massive Harley groups “clubs” on the interstate you can leave with a little twist
Love mine have a gen 1 I’ve got 77000 miles on mine and have had it for almost ten years and have traveled many miles and places with it. One thing I caught was you said it was carbureted however they weren’t ever carbureted. But love your videos keep up the good work
Love my Gen 2 busa. So so smooth and comfortable.
Crouch rockets scare the sh*t out of me mild to wild in a blink and this is why I ride a cruiser.
Too much. Too much.
I started on a 1200cc Buell M2 Cyclone. Yes, you can start on a heavy, powerful bike, but it will take you so much longer to build confidence. When you finally ride a lightweight beginner bike you will realize how much fun you missed out on.
Bud , it had 93hp , it wasn't powerful
Man,I really appreciate you starting off by reading GODS word,AWESOME, and GREAT videos!!
Except god doesn't exist.
Do us a favor and keep your high-school wisdom to yourself.
john enyeart, yes i think in blessing yourself or my self for a great ride just like we like it.. and i personally try to do so myself! good job man.
So many stupid people think a super bike is for beginners. Suicide mission. A local kid bought a gsxr 750 as his first bike and didn't make it home from the dealership, only made it half way. RIP. Ride smart and Ride safe.
Zephyr it is
The same story happened to someone in my neighborhood but with his dodge viper .
Zephyr so by that logic slap a turbo on a 250 and it's a super bike? hayabusas don't come with turbos
Zephyr a super sport is the same as a super bike, just different ways to say it they don't mean anything different, they're not like cars were there's sport, super sport, and hyper, there's sport (500cc or less) or supersports which is a bike design for racing even Kawasaki lists the h2r and zx6r in the same category and suzuki puts the gsxr600 and 1300 in the same one too
Zephyr h2r or 1998 zx6r they're superbikes
Slow bikes are more dangerous at freeway speeds because you lack the ability to power out of potential hazardous situations
No Suzuki Hayabusa was ever Carbureted. There was a Gentleman's agreement from Suzuki and Kawasaki plus the Europeans to Govern bikes to 186mph. The 99 Busa was the only Non-govern Busa thus making it Technically the Fastest stock Motorcycle.
Christopher Smith I'm glad someone else caught that. I don't think there's any modern sport bikes that are not fuel injected.
They had throttle body injection.....and the early years had a "choke" knob....which really wasn't a choke...so that confused people....Plus you have people ACTUALLY running Carbs, like Downdraft Lectrons in their Busa's....only adds to the confusion.
Christopher Smith fastest stock is a y2k
I was talking about in the line of Stock Busa's, the "99" was the Fastest.
hey im glad you guys caught that, it was a mistake on my part. it makes much more sense that the lever is just a high idle switch instead of being carbs
Your scripture encouraged me thats exactly what i needed at that same minuit praise God!!!
I had one of my toughest nights at work last night and was so stressed today about it I was feeling sick. Thank you for the words of wisdom part of the video I needed that specific passage so badly. Much love brother
I listened to all the bullshit about starting out small and lost interest and several thousand dollars. Eventually I'd like a liter bike but I'm in a financial whole thanks to bad advice. Start on whatever you want and have respect for what it can do. All bikes are very dangerous
John Smith nobody told you to finance a small bike.... but a used bike for $2000 then sell it and move up
You can start riding on any bike just know what the bike can do and don’t test your limits, just get comfortable riding it. I started out riding a Honda Blackbird (the fastest production bike before Busa) and respected all that power up under me.
I love the reading of the scriptures before you started the ride. To God be the glory.

Not to mention scooters run forever with one tank of fuel!
this actually was the bike i learned on its about self control
I learned how to ride on my '92 Nighthawk 750 (I ride a ZRX1200R now). It's definitely not a Hayabusa and it was an easy bike for sure. But it was a fast inline 4 cylinder motorcycle. But here's how I practiced with it. I only rode it around the apartment block for about 2 months until I was fully comfortable with going out on the road. Then I practiced and only rode in the back roads with minimal traffic for like 3 more months. Statistics are true, new riders get wrecked more on super sport bikes. But they're also idiots whose excitement and the impatient desire to show off that got the better of them. But I think even liter sport bikes are fine even for beginners as long as you're gentle with the clutch and throttle and you're patient with it.
That being said, a beginner rider will drop his/her bike more than once even during this patient riding process. It would be a shame to drop a brand new, the biggest and the baddest bike. But other than that, I honestly don't think bike displacement matters in learning
I personally don’t think the hayabusa is a great beginner bike it’s like riding a rocket when ur trying to learn to ride a plane
Even though the Busa & zx14 are 2 of my favorite bikes, I decided that starting out on a 250 is cool for me. It's just my personal choice cause I wanna be the best rider I can be before jumping on these monsters. Lol. Gr8 verse also. #blesshisname
I'm hoping to get my endorsement and a bike in the next 12 months. Looking at the Ninja 400 or maybe even a Duke 390.
Are you still on your 250?
Q is legit. Don't trust the media. Go with the 400. Still very easy to control as a beginner, but will do wayyyyy better on highways
Started on a Honda CB 500, after two years I jumped on a great deal on a gen 2 Busa. Never really know why i did it... but I love it to bits! It has been nearly three years now, and I am not afraid to say I still haven't opened the throttle 100% on it. Not scared of it, but I know my limits, and as you point out, I am not prepared for what it can do.
You should learn how to ride. Of the three major controls (throttle, front brake, and handlebars), the throttle is by far the LEAST powerful and the LEAST counterintuitive to learn, even on the Hayabusa. If you're having problems with the throttle, then you almost definitely don't know how to steer or brake effectively.
I respect the Hayabusa, but it is not for me. ( I perfer my Honda 919 Hornet.) My Friends though, LOVE them! They are the most comfortable sport bikes they have ever rode on a long trip. Even old Hayabusa's are among the top five fastest motorcycles ever produced by Japan to this day. And properly maintained, are as reliable as an anvil. That is quite a resume!
My motorcycle club leader has an 08 Hayabusa with 219000 miles on it, definitely reliable if you take care of it.
Ah this is driving me nuts, alright, the agreement was to govern it at 300kmh, (187mph) and the 99-00 Hayabusa wasn't governed. The 01 Hayabusa was the first year to be stuck to 187mph. The 99-01 Hayabusa had a 16 bit computer (01 being the only year of the governed 16 bit) and the 02+ had 32 bit computers.
My first street bike was an r1 when i was 18 but before i was riding for 11yrs dirt national champion with 125s and 250s. Now at 31 i had almost all the supersport or hypersport street oriented bikes . Hayabusa is a weapon. A turbo busa better. :) gen1 faster
Gen 2. Will become faster if you change the full exhaust system. But gen2 is the most reliable engine to mod ever. 300bhp with a turbo stage one kit and without engine internal mods shows how suzuki job is well done on the busa. As for dying.. you have the same chance dying on a 50cc as much as a turbo busa so buy whatever you want.
Best advice I received about the busa is "whatever you ask from it it'll give"
Sorry but Hayabusa's were never carburated. Fuel injection since day one. I had a 2000 model. 1999-2000, 1298cc unrestricted, 2001-2007 1298cc restricted, 2008- present 1340cc restricted.
1st gens aren't carbed
You said 2007 can be carb. You're incorrect sir.
Hey man, love the way you explain about how riding bikes, and different things to look out for depending on engine size and the type of bike, a lot to be learned from your vlogs, all the best from Bonnie Scotland 👍
Genuinely the Bandit 1200 is a very easy bike to ride for a beginner. . Heavier than the Hyabusa with less power but still very quick and weight distribution is perfect for a heavy bike. Sounds amazing as well. So much easier than my Sprint St to U turn. Very stable at high speed and in wet weather. The extra weight actually helps a beginner I feel, reigns you in a bit.. . Myself personally prefer big engine heavy faired bikes because of the stability, comfort and protection from wind. I would imagine a Hyabusa would be similar, very stable, low distributed weight. Wouldn't advise the Hyabusa for beginner bike mind but a Bandit 1200, no problems.
I did a 140mph wheelie in third with my missus on the back through Crosby Glenn on the Isle of Man! Easiest bike to ride in the world!!!
Andi Lock intentionally?
Andi Lock 😁
Andrii Gritsina not entirely! I was just wondering how fast it would go in third and the front wheel just came up on the power!!!
And then you woke up from your dream right? LOL
I'm not bullshitting! I'm not a wheelie merchant either, it just came up on the power!
I don't see why this should be a beginner bike.. just rent a 250 or borrow someone's 250 for a month then get a 600 or 750
I to not dream hayabusa. I need for travel = adventure bike= I can ride every where and enjoy forrest ,coast ,lakes ,rivers etc.
Even an adventure bike may be difficult to navigate in a lake or river.
When i was 17 I rode my bright orange stretched busa to school
I started on a 2000 busa :) and the 2000 has no limited either, a lot of fun. I know another guy started on a 99 busa and he got it when it was brand new and he’s still riding the bike. They’re great starter bikes
Jay Sal hell yes brother
You couldn't be more mistaken. Terrible starter bike. A starter bike should be one that you don't care about dropping because you didn't spend that much money on. Learn how to ride first guys.
Andy Reeves he’s literally proof that you can
@@bernardobarajas5570 just because you can doesn't mean you should. He's an exception, not the norm.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
"You put the pope on this bike, he will destroy the speed limit"
It's 9:30 am, this day is already worth it, haha
I started on a Suzuki GZ-250 I had it for 3 weeks before I got bored with it. Now I have a Kawasaki ninja 500r.
I have an '03 GZ250. Made it maybe a couple of months before I got my '12 Ninja 650. I'm happy I started on something small.
@@ActicAnDroid I had it for maybe 2 months only took it one the main road about 3 times. I tried to pass a Prius going under the speed limit and it struggled so I sold it and now I have a 06 ninja 500r.
Very ugly color
I was super tempted too buy a new Hayabusa for a first bike. Got a new fz09 instead. It's pretty slow, Lol. Machines only ever have as much power as you choose to use. Start on whatever you like.
The comment section is just as good as the actual video....lol!
2000zx12r ninja is faster
Only the A1 model. I owned the bike just sold it 2years ago with 25k miles. It's name was Busa Killer back in the 2000s. Loved the bike!
Faster? No its not ....
@@arsenbalunovic388 🤣🤣🤣 ok 2000 zx12r A1 was named "The Busa Killer" and was eating the busa back then.
Arsen Balunovic yes it was it also caused The future bikes to be governed Kawasaki was told to tone it down or it wouldn’t be sold in the USA ! So yea faster
@@ronnielabbe2149 not corect. Kawasaki was all ways more popular tjan Suzuki in USA so i do not belive in that story
My 1st bike was Hayabusa back in 2001 and trust me I was scared to ride it and that power + fear made me perfect rider today it was very easy to ride and trust me I still got 2 1st and 2nd gen and it is best bike and people turn to watch them passing
Dude...didn’t see the words of wisdom coming. That’s awesome bro! Keep sharing!
Same
High acceleration = QUICK
High top speed = FAST
I just wanna let you know, I've been watching tons of motorcycle videos (because I want to begin riding, but have a lot of concerns and curiosities) and I'm so glad I found your videos.
What comforts me the most about your knowledge, is your faith (so I subscribe to you, brother).
I've been looking into a hayabusa as my first because it's heavy (in case of an accident), it's a sports bike(so it does better on turns than HDs), and it has power for passing.
Im just worried because my town in Florida is notorious for bad/old drivers and motorcycle accidents. Does riding increase your faith in God?
Keith Code has a book and DVD called "A Twist of the Wrist" and in it, he explains how you start riding as if you have 25 cents. Everything you do, while learning to ride, costs you some cents. Learning to work the clutch = 10 cents. Learning to work the throttle = 5 cents. Learning the shifter = 5 cents. Learning to not lock up the rear brake costs 10 cents. Now learning to work the front brake = 10 cents. Learning to differentiate to not let go of the rear brake if you are skidding (no high side) and to let go of the front brake if you are skidding it = 20 cents. So, you are a beginning rider and you start off with 25 cents in your "abilities" and you have "spent" 60 cents to not crash on a fast bike. Well guess what, you crashed 35 cents ago!!!! After years of riding, each of the above "learned actions" cost you "LESS" because it becomes more ingrained in your riding memory and abilities. So, differentiating between the front brake action and rear brake action (or you buy an ABS bike) costs you 3 cents (or 0 cents on an ABS bike) instead of 20 cents as a beginner.... Great book/Video to own in your "Winter Riding Library!"
