I rode my Busa from Canada down to the Tail of the Dragon. Rode the Tail for a few days, no problem.
Dang thats a long ride. I'm there in a few hrs
you just rode the dragon? there are so many better roads branching off from there.
Omg, how did you survive? That must have been scary. Chesire cat grin. Autobahn!!!!!!
Ive been to the tail a few times
@@Kaspurr84 Who says he didn't ride any other roads? Try a reading comprehension class.
Absolutely love my 2013 Busa which is the same colour as yours And thank you for telling the world it is not just good for drag racing My Busa eats corners and doesn’t go near drag strips
yeah. can 100% agree. Got the same as shown in the video. WVCK RA L3 . The Torque of the engine and the wide usable rpm range is superb. Evrybody with experience should try one out
You don’t need to be an advanced rider to ride the Hayabusa. You just have to be competent. And I think that’s a required quality for any bike, not just the Hayabusa. And I’m speaking as someone who’s first bike was a Hayabusa. And I started in A Mode too. Don’t be scared. It only goes as fast as you want it to.
That’s horrible advice, the same mistake will have higher consequences
@@Gorlami90It’s good advice actually.
You can get hurt on any bike.
I feel like I must give my two cents here! I bought a Hayabusa (1st gen, bone stock exhaust and all) a few months after getting my license, technicly not my first bike but my second. And I can honestly say it's an incredible bike to ride, I haven't had it above ~150km/h so I'm a pretty careful rider in regards to speed but the overall experience is amazing. Great comfort and great confidence in the riding and the bike, great handling bike that feels nimble and not AT ALL terrifying to ride, very predictable! It ACTUALLY does exactly what you ask it to and I have to agree on the point that it takes self control to own and ride a bike like this but ANY bike will get you killed if you can't keep your right hand under control. That was actually the first tip I ever got getting into riding motorcycles on the street, if you lack the dicipline to ride responsibly, don't ride at all. A Hayabusa is a bike for anyone wanting a sporty yet comfortable ride!
He says "I could do a lot better" literally every time he does a 0-60
I know he does that every time
to be fair he rides a different bike every day and all bikes ride differently. Someone riding a brand new (to them) bike after 5 minutes isnt going to do a 0-60 as good as someone who has owned the bike for awhile. I'd bet if you gave him a couple more attempts he'd get faster numbers.
Yeah bro, chill I wasn't criticizing him. Surely he can do a lot better.
@@nityamgurbaxani lol Im chill brotha, just sayin. Have a good day!
Well it's not like he's practicing them, I'm sure he actually could do a lot better if he did
Exactly what I did when learning my Blackbird. Did some short pulls in 5th gear and worked my way down the gears as I grew more comfortable. My first time passing a car in 4th gear went like it’s fast, dang it’s fast, yikes it’s fast, holy cow it’s fast lol. I’d love to try a Busa some day.
Been riding gs500 year 2000. Can’t wait to upgrade! Great video!
I mentioned this on another video but I got to ride my mates 2010 busa. Surprisingly good, I'm a honda boy and have had more than 20, Currently have 5 cbr250rr mc22s.
The busa was less big and less heavy than I expected. And super smooth. You can ride it like a commuter bike i.e ninja 300 or something. Far less twitchy than the 2008 cbr1000rr I rode. Comparable to my old 2012 cbr600rr or the 2004 one.
And yes, when you twist the throttle it just goes like beans.
I'd honestly consider buying myself one if I had space and wasn't trying to somehow save for a house
Not a fan of sport bikes. They sound whiny and don't seem comfortable.
I really want a Hayabusa...
😂😂😂
You need an 06 Vmax
I rode my 2001 Bandit 1200S with a group of Harley riders. Nothing but compliments haha. It's amazing what a good exhaust does (D&D)
theyre not whiny, they sound like f1
You would like the vmax, m109r, or v rod
Hayabusa... no thanks...I want to keep my license, but it sure is fun watching others ride it.
I've ridden bikes all my life but never a bike with this much power. A friend brought his Hayabusa to my house for me to ride. I couldn't believe the power and speed this thing could do. It's almost like I've never ridden a bike before. It's insane performance by a completely stock bike. All I can say, it's an amazing bike for experienced riders. Kudos to Suzuki!!!
Your right about the busa is a home on the freeway. It cruises at 90 like it ain't no thang! I had a 2013 I did some mods on it to make it more responsive. On take off I black out on it from the G forces and woke up 2 seconds later laying on the tank!! That is when I realized that if I don't sell it I will get messed up or die on it,not to mention the countless times I when we'll over 100 mph on it evading possible felonies.
Hey Sean i rode out to your shop from philly last thurs with a friend of mine i was surprised to see you guys were closed but thats my fault should've called first but your guys were super hospitable let us check out the shop any way tell them thanks for me great channel and business god bless
I'd think falcon because of the peregrine falcon. Fastest bird alive.
That’s actually what Hayabusa translates to lol
@@alexhunt5520 he talked about it as a hunter killer of other birds.
And peregrines eat other birds like pigeons
@@SasquatchBenwa They eat blackbirds, Part of the namesake was a jab at honda against their 1100 Blackbird.

I'm glad that your reviewing some beginner bikes
Cbr1100xx is still alot more refined and better put together. It's a timeless bike.. as well as the busa. They're both great. But the blackbird is amazing
Yeah, i owned the carburated Blackbird edition from 1998 to the day i tried a Hayabusa second generation. Never turned back back again when that Suzuki is just pure insane in every way.
I agree.
Honda should definitely bring back the Blackbird. A fantastic bike.
I wish I could buy a new one, unmolested, Honda were ahead of the game in that bike.
BMW came out with the K1300S, I have one, it's fantastic, but it's not a Blackbird 😀
@@digger8180 it would be amazing, but they would have to be careful on how they do it.. the idea would be making us another timeless amazing bike.. not a cookie cutter! Imagine a new blackbird being the fastest production bike again!
I'm going to get one in a few years. It's a must have
The Busa is one of my 4 "I WILL DEFINITELY HAVE AT SOME POINT" bikes. There's the V-rod, the Road King, the Goldwing and the Busa. I've already owned a v-rod. I'll probably save the Road King and Goldwing until I get a bit older, so I guess the Busa is next on the list.
Best get on that then, man! The discontinued them this year
@@emersonp2877 Holy shit, are you serious???? shit lol
MT10 Indian chieftain and a busa
I like the idea of having one bike that can work as a tourer or to bring to the dragstrip. Maybe next season...
The coolest part about these bikes is watching people loop them at the dragstrip
Only the newbs lol
For less ‘thank’ 10K ... nice!

This is the dream bike you want when you don’t have driver license. The feeling is not what you want if you are a beginner and smart enough to think about driving safety. This is not only an issue of speed. This is a high seat with a different gravity center than a small cruiser. Also, if you are a rider, you don’t want to impress, you don’t care about your image of cool teenager. You don’t buy this bike with same circumstances you have watched it the first time.
First time I was on a busa, it was my buddy’s dad’s when I was 17. Total rider weight was about 500lbs. That shit still popped up at 1/4 throttle
That sound is on point.
Good bike for america and australia with all our open roads you can really open it up
Germany say hello.
Mine usually tries to kill me every time i abuse it. She is a smiling woman with a knife behind her back. Thats what i have learned from my Hayabusa.
That CBR 1100xx(Blackbird) in picture had a turbo installed. Look carefully under the radiator. Nice video as usual
I love this bike keep killing the videos.
I'm only a minute in and I've already snorted at "but I had that removed, SURGICALLY"
Great advice for everyone who has even LESS experience riding than you do. Still working on how to come up with an idea you can charge us all for viewing. Best wishes.
2020 probably last year, at least everywhere but the USA as does not meet Euro 4. Just like the Vrod! Great video!
C'est désolant pour moi qui demeure au Québec de ne pouvoir profiter de motos a des prix aussi imbattable quan on peut de moyens. Merci pour vos belles vidéo.
Newer riders, especially younger ones, make sure to check insurance cost before you buy one of these. Over a few years’ time, your insurance cost might equal or exceed the price of the bike.
What insurance 😅
I loved my R1 and I hated my buddy who trolled me in any gear with is busa.. lol rode it several times.. very comfortable weapon. If you hate back tires and love rolling burnouts it’s the bike for you.
I love my 2019 hayabusa. Its fun taking out lambos, gtr and anything else
Lol whatever
I prefer the hayabusa cause I've always love the engine sound of suzuki vs anyone else

Busa is know to be super easy to ride even for beginners. Its not twitchy.

Its a normal Daily drive. Just respect the gas.
What mic do you use in your helmet? So clear.

Gotta say below 5-6 grand there's no difference on the power between A B or C mode just a throttle response delay, you start to see the difference between medium to high rpm, which is kinda useless if you want it to be a bit more docile (especially in traffic) The only time I might use any of the other modes would most likely be when it's wet, but even then I just wouldn't choose ride the thing on a wet day

GSX1300R, not GSX-R 1300. The GSX-Rs are the track bikes, and as Yammie Noob demonstrated this is no track bike.

Hey srk! Can you do a video on all 600-750 street bikes? I'm looking at getting a bike but I want to know the ins and outs of these bikes before I purchase one, and you seem like a guy to trust!
if you are looking for a good street bike that is good for even beginners i would recommend naked bikes to you. the MT-07 is a great naked and then there is also the cheaper used option of geting a FZ. the FZ6 actually uses a R6 engine that is tuned slightly different to give it bit more low end power. i love my fz6n. really fun bike and if you are a beginner a very good beginner bike to. it may do 0-62 in 3.6sec but it has decent enough power in the mid RPM range that a newer rider can just short shift it a little and still have allot of fun. and then ones you get bit more comfortable you just rev it out. any kind of naked bike would be good as street bike. sport bikes are a bit different though as they can be very badly set up for your body dimensions. like lets take Honda for example. they are known to be bit small so they don't fit larger people that well.
Year later, and I’m actually going to get a Harley softball rocker c from my father. Crazy how times have changed. But thanks for the advice!
@@EliteArmory_llc have fun man stay safe

Exactly 40 seconds in before I found the 1st false information it is a GSX1300R and is not related in any way shape or form to the GSXR family it is more closely related to the katana.
Going straight to A mode on that bike will plant you 6 feet under in a blink
Love the channel. Just wondering who would pay $10,000.00 for a bike anyway?
Stop spreading misinformation. It's not a GSXR. it's a gsx1300r. The regular gsx series is more of touring, like the katana
